The Sims Spark'd is a brand new show where Simmers take on challenges to create unique characters, amazing builds, and compelling stories to win a big cash prize! Now, the competition is heating up in Episode 2. Each team has a chance to show off their abilities in a parenthood-themed Skill Challenge before the all-important Elimination Challenge. Can they get it together, choose the right packs, and show they’ve got what it takes?

Grab your yarn and knitting needles — in The Sims™ 4 Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack, Sims can craft their own clothes, toys, and knittable home décor! Young and old Sims alike can take a seat in their new rocking chair and start creating. When you’re done, rock your handcrafted styles or sell them on the new online shopping platform, Plopsy.

Get knitty with it — Knit clothing for the whole family, or decorate with knitted plant hangers, rugs, and even toys for kids! Once you’ve increased your skills, teach other Sims to pass your knitting knowledge along.

Prepare to rock — Plop down in one of the 4 new rocking chair variants to relax, knit, nap, or read a book. Elder Sims also have a new Reminiscence interaction. Recall the days of youth gone by in utter comfort.

Shop online with Plopsy — The more you knit, the more you can earn on Plopsy, the new online crafting marketplace. List or buy everything, from socks to sweaters to paintings and woodworking projects.

Each Spark'd Challenge introduces a unique theme, with three ways to participate. Whether you specialize in building, styling, or storytelling in The Sims, simply share your Creations for a chance to be spotlighted on the Spark’d Challenges website. Your fellow players can also admire all of the submitted Creations in the new Spark’d Gallery in-game and vote on their favorites to select Top Spark’d Creators. (Did we mention Top Spark’d Creators may have a chance to be featured on future seasons of The Sims Spark’d show? That could be you!)

The Sims Spark’d presented by ELEAGUE will debut Friday, July 17, at 11 p.m. ET/PT on TBS.

The Sims Spark’d is a four-episode series where players will compete in both skills and elimination challenges with $100,000 on the line, showcasing contestants from The Sims community as they race against the clock to impress a panel of celebrity judges.

The show features an amazing cast, with former American Idol finalist, Rayvon Owen, as the host, who has been playing the game since middle school. Joining Rayvon are three judges that each bring their own critical Sims voice to the competition. The first is BuzzFeed Multiplayer YouTube personality, Kelsey Impicciche, famous for her own #100babychallenge series she created with The Sims. Next up is singer-songwriter, Tayla Parx, who has done voice acting work for the game and sang her song, “Me vs. Us” in Simlish (in-game language) for The Sims 4 Get Famous expansion pack. Rounding out the judges’ panel is Maxis™ game developer, Dave Miotke. Maxis is the development studio behind the franchise where Miotke - better known in the community as SimGuruNinja - has worked for 15 years.
