First Greetings from Shadow Arena!

Greetings, this is Shadow Arena.

Our game is a “fantasy arena fighter” where you compete against other players to become the final survivor, the sole champion.

While Shadow Arena is a combat-orientated game that emphasizes back-and-forth battles, it also implements RPG elements such as monster farming in a “Shadow Arena-style” which let players feel a larger variety of engagement.

In this Beta, we want to show the action-packed combat of Shadow Arena and get feedback, so we can deliver a more complete and finished game. We hope for your participation and support!

Game Guide: Hero Mastery

Each hero has their own Mastery.

You can gain Hero Mastery experience based on your rank after each match ends.

Mastery can go up to Lv. 10.

30 – My Rank + Random 1~20 = Hero Mastery Experience acquired

※ If above calculation is 0 or lower, you will not gain Hero Mastery EXP.
e.g.) 30 - 37(My Rank) + 2(Random) = -5 (Gained 0 Hero Mastery EXP)
e.g.) 30 - 5(My Rank) + 8(Random) = 33 (Gained 33 Hero Mastery EXP)

In addition, you can acquire Skill Stones each time your hero’s Mastery increases.
Use Skill Stones to enhance your hero’s skill of choice.

Game Guide: Skill Enhancement

You can earn a Skill Stone every time your Hero Mastery increases.

Skill Stones are used to enhance heroes’ skills.

Each hero has 5 skills, which can all be enhanced via Skill Enhancement. Also, the greater number of enhanced skills your hero has, the greater the number of Skill Stones you will need to continue enhancing your skills.

When you select your hero, you can see their Skill Enhancement options on the right-hand side of the screen and select to take them into the arena.
Usually, you can select up to 2 enhanced skills. However, you can select up to 3 enhanced skills if all the skills of a hero are enhanced.

Game Guide: Red Dragon Descends

There is a small chance to get the item “Red Dragon's Offering” by killing monsters.

A red dragon will swoop in quickly from far away when you use this item.
The dragon will fire “Red Dragon's Breath” towards the location you used the offering at.

“Red Dragon's Breath” engulfs the area in flames. Death is most likely for heroes caught in these flames, so quick thinking is required to escape the red dragon’s wrath when it appears. Note that heroes who use the offering can also get burned by the flames, so use it with caution.

[Beta] Tester Selection and Steam Beta Key Registration Information

Thank you to all those who registered for the Shadow Arena Beta.

As of February 25 (Thu), the much awaited tester selection has been completed, and those selected as testers have been sent a notification email to the email address they provided when they registered for the Beta.

Contained within this notification email is the [Steam Beta Key] that will grant you access to the Beta. Make sure to register this Steam Beta Key, so that you’ll be ready to jump right into the action once the Beta begins.

1) Log in to the Shadow Arena Steam Community(registration required)
2) Visit the Steam client installation page
3) Install the Steam and log in
Click the [Games] tab in the upper-left corner > Select [Activate a Product on Steam] to register your Steam Beta Key

* Enter the Steam Beta Key sent to the email address provided during tester registration.
* The Shadow Arena client will be available to install sometime on February 26 (GMT+9). We will inform you once the client is installable.
* If you lose or forget your Steam Beta Key, please contact us via Support > Submit a Ticket on the official website for assistance.
* Please ensure you have at least 10 gb of free space available on your PC before installing the game client.
