Game development progress #09


Hello everyone,

In the past few months, we have focused on the reconstruction and optimization of the game, the addition and integration of new systems, and of course we are also working hard on the main story line of Emily. Here we will share the current progress with you.

[h3]Game reconstruction[/h3]
At present, we have reconstructed many important systems, including: NPC task and dialogue system, save system, vehicle system, weapon system, animal AI system, map system and the most important "two-person interactive behavior" system... etc.

The process of game reconstruction and optimization took us a lot of energy and time, but it is necessary and worthwhile in order to reduce errors, increase future scalability, and improve everyone's gaming experience.

There are also some AI NPCs, a simple version of the cooking mode, "two-person interaction behavior" after wine tasting... etc. We are also implementing the ideas you put forward.

[h3]Main line and branch line[/h3]
Around the plot, we have added a number of new scenes, and we will design an exclusive "two-person interaction behavior" plot for each place.














There are still two new characters being developed, but the plot and "two-person interaction behavior" are much more complicated than before. Character images will be announced in the future.

After the last update, thanks to everyone's support, the studio has the ability to add two reliable employees. Now COVID-19 is still serious. Although some of us were diagnosed last week, our enthusiasm for making games has not been affected at all, and we still stick to our original intention!

The Lunar New Year is coming, we will abide by the agreement with you and we will not give up making games. We are also very grateful to many players who have always supported us. Your support is really important to us!

Hello Everyone,

We would like to thank you all for the support after our last update. We received a lot of support and encouragement.

Although we tried our best in fixing the bugs for the update, however, during the process we realized that, only by restructuring the program and core systems, such as character AI's, missions, save...etc., can we solve the fundamental problems and improve the performance. In addition, to improve our game with better performance and presentation, we will be upgrading to an updated game engine.

About the plots, we are now planning and working on the main storyline of Emily, in addition to introducing new characters, the "interaction" side story of Nana and Isabelle will also be updated.

We also have several new scenes and stores in the pipeline, and we hope our players will have some new gameplay experience. Since you mentioned about costume change, photo and "interactive mode" enhancements, they will also be the focus of our next update.

A while ago, due to the impact of the pandemic, motion capture and recording were suspended, and many of our colleagues were COVID-19-positive and had to be isolated at home for more than a month.... But we will never give up, and no one has left, we are still working hard with the same intention to make the game better!

  • Fixed the player not sitting on the chair in the next scene if the player pressed ESC to skip after the meal was delivered.
  • Fixed a bug where knives would fall off the floor when in cooking mode.
  • Fixed a bug where the utensil operation would sometimes be reversed when pouring something in cooking mode.
  • Fixed a steering error that sometimes occurred when utensils were placed on the table in cooking mode.
  • When using a biodetector, the green dot will vary in size depending on the distance.
