It's been a while since we released Free DLC (link do poprzedniego postu) and celebrated Animal Shelter's first birthday 🎊a today we'd like to "shed some more light" on the functionalities the game has received throughout development so far!🧐


We’ve noticed that with the increase of available mechanics in the game, it is more and more common for you to miss opportunities and solutions. This makes some problems arise e.g., the possibility of animals escaping from cages, which we added with the previously mentioned DLC 👏.


[h3]Therefore, we decided to make this post that will remind you of some interesting opportunities in the game that you might have missed![/h3]





[h2]Did You Know? : [/h2]

• In our game, there is a possibility to not only to adopt a pet on your own but also you seat it on special pillows 🐶 Thus, the pet can stay with you at least in your office! BUT NOT ONLY THERE🙂 You can find these pillows in the store, in the Deco section 🎀
  
  
  
  
• If you don’t lock the cage doors, animals may escape from them🤭.
  
  
  
  
• If the pets escape and you are unable to find them, you can reset their position using the special button located in the loading menu. 🔴
  
  
  
  
• You can not only unpack parcels with ordered items but also move them. (You can do it with the right mouse button) 📦.
  
  
  
  
• There is a wall in the office where you can attach photos of your pets that you have given out for adoption 💝
  
  
  
  
• You can get to the stable where you take care of the horses which appeared in the game along with the Horse Shelter DLC using the main gate of the shelter 🥅.
  
  
  
  
• To adopt kittens and puppies, you need to put up a specially designed building 🏠.

[h3]There haven't been many posts for a while now, but we were crazy busy for planning and developing Animal Shelter, our team still take notes of your suggestion and ideas and we have plan to develop the game more.... and more to prepare surprises! 😀[/h3]

[h3]It's possible that most of you haven't noticed how much time has passed since we took the first step of releasing our game… And since that premiere, it has been exactly:[/h3]





[h2]This means that quite recently, we miss the first birthday of Animal Shelter 🎂 🎉[/h2]





A lot has happened during this year, and it took a lot of work, commitment, a lot of screen shots viewed, a lot of bugs corrected but most importantly, endless learning from our entire Team ✍️

During this time, you - our players, have been our fuel to keep going and encouraged us to overcome new challenges. You gave us a lot of patience, lots of advice, and sent us many soothing and morale-restoring messages. We talk with many of you personally, and this is incredibly important to us.


[h3]On the occasion of Animal Shelter's first birthday, we would like to summarize what we have achived together, how much we have grown over the last 12 ( actually 13) months![/h3]

• The full version of our game, has been bought by more than 120,000 players
• In Animal Shelter: Prologue, has been played by more than 360,000 players in total, and more than 1,700 players have left a review, giving the game a 92% positive reviews.
• We released 2 DLC, that sold more than 50,000 copies :
  
  🍼 Puppies & Kittens .
  🐴 Horse Shelter.
  
  
• We have ported the game to other platforms:

  ❤️ Nintendo Switch

• Our game Animal Shelter in the Google Play store, has been downloaded by more than one million players.

[h3]It’s content is literally your voice and our way to say thanks for everything you’ve done 🙂 New location, workers, adopting animals and MORE. Buckle up and make sure you’re in for a ride![/h3]

[h2]0️⃣ Let’s start off strong. It’s one of two most requested content updatesall of you were asking for! We’d like to introduce you to THE NEW MAP - Park. [/h2]



[h3]We realize there was no place dedicated for walking your pupils… Well, until now! 🐕 Finally, we’ve finished working on the entire location where you can take a stroll with your pupils on a leash 🥰 and while you're there, why not play with your animals for a bit?[/h3]

[h2]1️⃣ An even bigger animal shelter! 🎉 [/h2]

[h3]You no longer have to give up putting up more buildings and facilities. We have added more space to expand your institution so that you can take in even more pets and design the look of your shelter ❤️ [/h3]




[h2]2️⃣ From now on, you’ll be able to hire workers.[/h2]

[h3] You may ask “how many of them can we hire?” It’s simple! The amount depends on the reputation of your shelter 😊. Each of the workers hired will reduce the pace of pet’s “needs meter” deterioration. That’ll allow you to manage more pets or have even more leisure playthrough with fewer animals. 😍[/h3]



[h2]3️⃣ Before we move to the main news, let’s take a look at a list of quality of life improvements we’ll introduce with this update 📝:

-Now you can switch between multiple screens,
-Photo gallery can be sorted,
-The movable trash cans are finally here!
-The fill / free space of items can be seen,
-New, upgraded camera control while in the animal interaction mode,
-Upgraded cleaning mechanic!! Now you can clean the entire floor in the cage!



[h2]4️⃣ Hold on for a moment, we also received information about some changes for the animals😻.[/h2]
[h3]From now on, you’ll be able to receive and give away more than one pet at the same time 😀. And while we’re on it, you can change animals’ names and edit their descriptions 🤩
[/h3]


[h2]5️⃣ You asked us multiple times to make some behavioral changes for your cuties.[/h2]
[h3]No problem! Now pets will be able to go into their respective dog houses, lay on pillows and so on 👍 Oh, them running off and going to the enclosure is no longer a bug, it’s a feature😎![/h3]



[h2]6️⃣ That brings us to the most requested feature. You’re right! Using the computer, you can adopt an animal! ❤️‍🔥 [/h2]

[h3]An animal you adopt can’t be given back for another adoption but you can still be returned to the “normal animals pool”. We also added a[b] special kind of pillows which can be laid for example in your office 🖥️ and once you lay your animal on them or lead it on them using a leash, you can keep pupil in your office![/h3]
