In this case, without any doubt, the key feature is to have all the important information about our shelter in one place. Who would like to search for all the needed data in the accounting books, important documents, and different folders on the desktop, when you can have everything in one category on your computer? 💻

Today, we are presenting the Statistics category!



As visible above, you will see a few important information such as cleanliness, buildings in shelter and finances, in one place! 🎉

By looking at the finances tab, you can easily tell how much is your account balance and how big is your debt.

From the beginning of creating the game, we wanted it to be smooth and accessible to all kinds of players, especially those who do not play computer games very often. This is why we decided to introduce two kinds of a helping hand 👋

The first one is a well-known tutorial - the one you had a chance to come across in our demo (by the way, what are your thoughts on this one? Was it helpful enough?).

The second one we are introducing today - the encyclopedia. This special tab is available on your shelter computer whenever you need it. It consists of a short and clear description with pictures of a certain feature.





For now, you can find the following categories in the encyclopedia:

Are you ready for some new, cool stuff? Hurray! We are ready as well! 🦴

It was mentioned many times that the office is a very crucial place in our shelter. It's kind of a control panel for us. If you want to change something in the shelter, take new pets in or take care of the adoption process - it's the right place to go and you already know that.

The office not only needs to be functional, but it also needs to be cosy and pretty! This is why in the full version of the game you will have a chance of creating your own office! 🎉
You will be able to choose your own furniture and of course, you will decide where to put them.

We are so excited to present something new today, that you haven't seen before! As you are probably aware, in the full version of Animal Shelter you will have the opportunity to build your own shelter from scratch. But the shelter isn't a real one, without the animals! 🐕

If you were following all of our devlogs, you already know that the computer is a very important item in the shelter. It allows you to have access to maaaaaany cool features and today we will talk about another one of them!

In order to enter a new animal, mode you need to find the right icon on your desktop. The one we are looking for presents a sad cat sitting under a rain cloud. 🐱🌧️



After clicking this icon you will see a list of different animals. They are not living in the shelter, but it isn't a problem! They can always be taken in ❤️ If you see some red icons next to the animals, it means that are having health issues and you need to take care of them. There is also a short description of each animal, so you can find out a bit about their life story. Isn't it heartwarming and emotional? 😊

We all know, that as an owner of animal shelter you will need to take care of many important aspects. This is why it's good to have food, water, or other essential items whenever they are needed.

In Animal Shelter you will have an opportunity to use many, various items - each of them will provide a different action in the game. It's very important to mention here, that you can have only one active item in your hand. How to deal with it? It would be really time consuming if you had to go back and forth to bring whatever you need for the time being. This is why the rest of the needed items can be stored in your inventory! 😊🎒

To open the inventory you need to simply press the TAB key, and there you go!
