SUMMARY:
  • Tweaked the Friends List, especially with the Steam friends list that could cause many minor issues. 
  • Made some changes to the Slicer zombie.
  • Fixed a lot of bugs related to zombies. 
  • Make some tweaks on weapons to balance them out better. 
  • Players will no longer respawn inside "events".
  • Made some adjustments to the zombie optimization systems.
  • Made some changes to the secret rooms so they can't be abused and you can't risk finding empty crates.
  • Made some tweaks to the contracts in Survival.
  • Adjusted spawns around Clearview and added cover.

GENERAL CHANGES

USER INTERFACES AND MENUS:
  • Added more options for server owners on the Private Server panel.
  • Added a warning to the Flea Market in offers where weapons or ammo are not full. 
  • Tweaked the Friend system to avoid lags from huge friends lists. 
  • Fixed a UI bug in the Arcade Leaderboards that could cause a game crash.
  • Fixed a bug that causes the crafting screen to incorrectly show that the recipe required a workbench.
  • Fixed a bug that caused item descriptions to not show properly. 
  • Added an option to toggle Steam friends on/off.

GENERAL FIXES & CHANGES:
  • The icon for the Airdrop will disappear after the Airdrop is looted.
  • Fixed a bug where the reviver time would go to 0 (visually) when you purchased something in the shop. 
  • The Slicer Zombie will no longer chase vehicles.
  • Fixed a bug that caused zombies not to be able to attack targets that were slightly higher than the zombies.
  • Players will no longer respawn inside Radiation areas. 
  • Fixed a kick that was caused due to sliding downhills. 
  • Fixed a bug that caused skinned items to not be counted as a crafting item resource. 
  • Made some changes to how the Secret Rooms work. From now on, you use the cards to open the crates rather than the door.
  • Heli Crashes will not instantly spawn zombies upon appearing on the map. 
  • You cannot use a gauze accidentally if you are not bleeding. 
  • Lowered interaction time on Lockers.
  • Adjusted the sounds of Zombie Dogs to make it easier to detect their direction.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Slicer Zombie to respawn too quickly. 
  • Fixed a bug where other players' weapons would show incorrectly when aiming down.
  • Fixed a bug that caused zombies to glitch when dying and reappearing "frozen" in place. 
  • Fixed a bug on the server where they would lag for a second every 5 minutes and zombies would teleport around. 
  • Reworked zombie optimizations: 
    • To improve general performance a while back, we made some changes to the animation and their AI when they were far. We have fixed a few bugs related to this which will make them feel much smoother.
  • M4:
    • Spread has been slightly increased
    • Recoil has been slightly increased
  • AKM:
    • Spread has been slightly increased
    • Recoil has been slightly increased
  • FN Scar CQC:
    • Speed has been slightly decreased
    • Fire rate has been slightly decreased

Patch 3.8 Hotfix #2


GENERAL CHANGES
  • Zombie deaths do no longer count towards KDR (Kill/Death Ratio)
  • Lowered Ladder climbing speed - Right now, it was too easy for others to catch and too easy to fall of due to its high speed
  • Ladders now produce a sound when climbed
  • Fixed a bug that caused "Ghost Zombies". That was happening when a vehicle ran them over and killed them when there was nobody driving it.
  • Fixed a bug that didn't allow you to pickup weapons or gear when the backpack was full, but still had slots open on the "Gear Slots" (which don't count towards the weight)
  • Added item weight to their descriptions
  • Cars no longer get stuck on dead Zombie Dogs or Slicers
  • Added an individual slider for vehicle sounds
  • Fixed a UI crash
  • Fixed a crash that happened when trying to run over zombies

ITEMS & SKINS

FIXES
  • Lowered the brightness on Erckul's Wand
  • Reworked the icon for the Woodshield Barricade. It was too bright
  • Improved the lighting quality on Light Saber skins. It was glowing too much on this map

SURVIVAL

GENERAL
  • Increased the time till items despawn from 10 to 15 minutes

CRAFTING
  • Added a new crafting item: Gauze (2x Cloths)
    • Gauze will only stop your bleeding but won't heal you at all
  • Changed the Hunter Backpack Crafting Recipe
    • Military Backpack 2 -> 0
    • Leather Backpack 0 -> 2
    • Cloth 250 -> 100

 

CONTRACTS & MISSIONS
  • Fixed the description on the Helping Hand CO-1 Contract
  • Zombie Slayer III Contract
    • Updated the reward to a Military Backpack instead of the Large one

    • Removed the L85 from the rewards

MAPS

OREGON
  • Decreased the amount of loot at the airport and around the bridges.
  • Re-generated the minimap as it was a bit off

COLORADO
  • Fixed a misplaced object in Clearview next to the white house.
  • Improved some terrain behind the Castle Pine Settlement safe zone.
  • Opened the fences south-west of Boulder City.
  • Removed the Super Zombie spawn located south in Boulder City to make it more beginner-friendly.
  • Removed the Super Zombie from the big market in Campos City to make it more beginner-friendly.
  • Increased the safe zone radius in Goblin Peak.
  • Improved the ladders around the bridge in Campos City.
  • Improved the player spawns around Campos City.
  • Increased the amount of loot at farms.
  • Increased the amount of food inside markets.
  • Added zombies to the west-side of the bridge in Boulder City.
  • Fixed the problem in Glenwood Springs which prevented zombies from spawning.
  • Improved the road texture on Delta Peek.
  • Improved the road texture in Campos City.

  • Opened the fence back in Campos City a bit more because Zombies were getting stuck.

We are going to restart the servers to implements our hotfix.
This includes bugfixes and improvement related to the Patch 3.8

  • Changed the backpack slots for all variants in Survival.
  • Fixed the destroyed vehicle model of the Racer.

GENERAL CHANGES

USER INTERFACES AND MENUS:
  • Fixed texts on the Friend System's status
  • Fixed an issue where you would see a blurry screen after leaving a server.
  • Added a "taunt preview" system on the Taunt Store page.
  • Added a bundle system to the Store. You will be able to buy a combination of items in just one click. 
  • "Mute" system improved. When you mute a player, that information will be stored until you restart your game (previously it would be reset as soon as you left a server).
  • Optimized HUD mouse input. This will help with performance. 

GENERAL FIXES & CHANGES:
  • Fixed an issue that would directly affect the melees' fire rates.
  • Fixed an issue where people could use the shooting system to abuse shooting macros. 
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to spawn under the terrain upon leaving vehicles
  • Lowered the Slicer Zombie's total health.
  • Removed traps (Claymores and Bear Traps) from PvP servers.
  • Added training servers for everyone. This was previously only enabled for beginner accounts.
  • Fixed a major issue where players could climb up ladders through walls. 
  • Increased the health for the Zombie Dogs. 
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent some movements when your FPS was too high.
  • Added a few variations for Premium Account Subscription. You can now buy Premium for 3, 7 and 15 days as well. 

  • Increased Slicer damage
  • Decreased Slicer HP
  • Some guns have been adjusted for better balancing. 
    • AK47 has been slightly nerfed
    • AN94 has been slightly buffed
    • Night Stalker has been slightly buffed (now it's the same as Red Stalker)
    • Imi-Tar has been readjusted (improved some stats while lowering some others)
    • LMGs have been all slightly nerfed
    • L85 has been slightly nerfed

  • Fixed a bug on the new secret spot buildings where you were able to see through the stairs.
  • Fixed a texture bug on the Fire Station building.
  • Fixed the unusual shadows on some walls within the 5-story buildings.
  • Improved the stairs on the two-story Fire Station where you would get stuck and had to jump.
  • Optimized the "pyramid" building from Oregon.
  • Improved the Airport Tower LODs.
  • Added little stairs to a common building where you always had to jump to get in.

  • We have added new loot boxes to the secret locked rooms. There are two different types, yellow for common and red for rare rooms.


  • Updated the General Store building. We have done some improvements on the texture and added details.




 
  • Resized the texture of the inside walls of this building as it was stretched out.

 
  • Fixed an overlapping texture of a building that was causing flickering on the client.

CRAFTING:
  • We are starting to rework the whole crafting list and how the components work to make it easier to collect and make them more useful for players. 
    The first major change is with bullets and cases.
    • For now, you will have two types of bullets (versus 4 that you previously had): High Caliber Bullets and Low Caliber Bullets. 

  • The bullets you have farmed and stashed into your global inventory are going to get replaced with the new bullet types:
    • AR Bullets -> High Caliber Bullets
    • SNP Bullets -> High Caliber Bullets
    • SHG Bullets -> Low Caliber Bullets
    • HG Bullets -> Low Caliber Bullets
  • Empty Stanag Clip is now called Empty Assault Rifle Clip and can be used to craft magazines for any Assault Rifle.
  • Empty 9mm Clip is now called Empty Pistol Clip and can be used to craft magazines for any Pistols.
  • Empty Winchester Clip is now called Empty Sniper Clip and can be used to craft magazines for any Snipers.

  • We also reworked the crafting list. As previously mentioned, we want to make it as simple as possible. We removed a lot of recipes and some might come back in a later state when workbenches are fully implemented.

    • Placed some interior inside empty buildings in Rio
    • Fixed some flying objects around the bridges
    • Decreased the amount of Super Zombies at the Airport

  • COLORADO V1
    • Fixed a misplaced cliff next to Campos City.
    • Added some ways to climb up on the market in Clearview.
      • NOTE: We are not focusing on blocking places where you could go up easily, if people think they can use glitches or private server to go on top of something, then we are just making it available for everyone.
    • Adjusted the terrain at Glenwood Springs.
    • Added some collision walls around the Fire Station in Clearview.
    • Added workbenches around the map.
    • Reworked the minimap.

 
  • OTHER MAPS:
    • All the other maps have been removed from the Game Mode.

 

BATTLE ROYALE

GENERAL:
  • Fixed conflict of actions that wouldn't allow you to revive others in BR while holding meds. 
  • You no longer see the missions from the previous match in BR when pressing "Play Again". The mission never stayed available, but it was still shown as active.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the "sound muted" from the Lobby after the match starting. 

MAPS:
  • ARENA:
    • Removed the rocks where people keep glitching inside.
      • NOTE: Keep in mind, glitching is a bannable offense.

 

COMPETITIVE

GENERAL:
  • Added a small cooldown to the matchmaking system if you decline a game. 
  • Fixed a bug where a match would start when only 4 players were connected.
  • Reworked the matchmaking system to provide a better-balanced game. This system will now use a hidden "ELO" system, not just rank. 
  • Fixed a bug where your reward at the end of the match wouldn't pop up. 
  • If you are AFK during a match, you will not receive any kind of reward. 
  • If you leave a match in progress, you will automatically receive a loss regardless if your team wins or not.
  • Fixed a bug where you would drop your meds when buying a grenade. 
  • Fixed a bug that caused the competitive game mode to not show the updated rank in-game.
  • Fixed a camera issue in Competitive, when spectating. 
  • Added a mute and a report button to Competitive.
  • We have added new Ranks on the Competitive game mode.

MAPS:
  • CLEARVIEW:
    • Fixed the position of a trash can behind post office where you could get stuck.
  • VILLAGE:
    • Removed the little fences in front of the attacker spawn.
    • Removed the dead bodies from the sidewalks.
    • Fixed some small flying bricks.
  • CLIFFSIDE:
    • We have added a new map called Cliffside and will be available in the Competitive game mode.
