Today is Friday and this means WEEKEND!
For this weekend event we'll have it live for the following period of time:
 

START: July 31, 2020 12:00 PM (CET)

END: August 3, 2020 12:00 PM (CET)
 

Now, let's jump into further details about this Weekend Event:

1. Double Winner Reward [BR]
   The skinbox reward for winning a Battle Royale match will be doubled.
    
2. Placeable GI Access Lockers [AC]
   You will have a chance of finding GI Access Lockers from Alien Super Zombies.
   - You can place down these lockers on your private servers to access your Global Inventory directly without logging out!
    
3. Wooden Lockers [SV]
   There will be a chance of dropping a Wooden Locker from Super Zombie.
   - Wooden Locker are placeable on Official and Private server but can be destroyed by players or zombies.
    
4. Double Reputation [PVP]
   All earned reputations on Hospital PVP servers in Arcade will be doubled.
    
5. The Day of Protections [ALL]
   Every spawn protection listed on the Store will have a discount of 60%!

Now, let's jump into further details about this Weekend Event:

1. Findable GD Skinboxes [AC+SV]
   During this event you will be able to get GD Skinboxes from the Super Zombies.
    
2. Double XP [AC]
   All earned Experience is doubled in the Arcade game mode.
    
3. Double Currency [ALL]
   All currency in the game will be doubled. This includes Survival, Arcade, Battle Royale and Competitive.
    
4. Double GC [ALL]
   All purchased GC (Gold Coins) are going to be doubled.
   (Keep in mind, GC amount shown on Steam is already the doubled value)
    
5. Twitch Event [ALL]
   Stream at least 6 hours in total and you will earn 1,000 GC as reward.
   Please read the following rules before:
   - Make sure you Past Broadcast is enabled. If you don't know how, check out this article CLICK HERE
   - You need to have 6 hours in total, means you can stream like 3x 2 hours, etc.
   - Streaming AFK or in just lobbies will not count.
   - Make sure you Twitch account is linked to New Z. If you don't know how to do that, check out this article CLICK HERE
   - After you streamed the 6 hours in total, you submit a ticket to us right HERE. (You have to log in using your game account)

1. Pistol ONLY Warehouse [PVP]
   We will enable "Pistol Only" on all Warehouse servers, meaning that you can only play using pistols.
    
2. Double XP [SV]
   All earned Experience is doubled in Survival.
    
3. Melee Only Royale [BR]
   During this event, you will only find melee weapons in Battle Royale. Good luck!
    
4. Server Renting Discount
   All private server rentals will be discounted by 25% in both Arcade and Survival

We are rolling another quick hotfix to address a few issues. 

 

GENERAL FIXES

 

• (new) Added the button "Open New" on the skinbox opening screen so you can open another box without having to go through the process again.
• Fixed a bug with adding friends crashing and/or showing invalid characters. 
• (new) Added a new icon on the server list to identify servers running the new accuracy netcode system. 
• (new) You can use bandages with full health now if you're bleeding
• Fixed the issue that wouldn't allow you to use medic items when with over 99% health. (between 99% and 99.9%)

 

BATTLE ROYALE

• Made improvements to the Play Again button when playing in "Matchmaking" (when you group up randomly)
• Fixed a bug related to the Waypoints not resetting after starting a new match
• Fixed a bug on the Loading screen in the Battle Royale Standalone client
• Fixed a bug where ladders would disappear when using the PLAY AGAIN function
• Fixed a bug that caused some objects still show after a new match started using the PLAY AGAIN function

 

Estimated patch size: 60 MB

Patch ETA: Client-sided patch were released on Friday

Estimated downtime: 10 minutes

   During this event, all earned Tokens are going to be doubled.
    
4. Double XP Official Colorado [AC]
   Every XP you earn on the official Colorado servers are going to be doubled.
