Infestation: Battle Royale News

Hello everyone,
We are bringing another patch for you guys that will bring content for the next global event!
We are also making major corrections to the AI and Quality of Life towards them, along with engine corrections to improve overall performance for both game client and server. These will also allow us more leeway to create new features.
And we are adding a handy visual update to show you when you receive EXP and Season Pass XP.

[h2]GENERAL CHANGES[/h2]
[h3]GENERAL FIXES & CHANGES:[/h3]

• Fixed an issue with Ridgeway Airport walls and its physics where people were able to abuse them.
  
• Fixed issues in the Polish localization of the game.
  
• Fixed an issue with Halloween contracts not giving the intended amount of rewards.
  
• Fixed a building model in Campos City and other towns around Colorado.
  
• Fixed the LOD of the Airport Towers. It now should render properly.
  
• Fixed an issue that caused a Disconnect during the Warmup in Competitive.
  
• Changed one Official Server to PvE (Both Arcade and Survival) due to poll results.
  

[h3]COSMETICS[/h3]
NEW:

• Added a completely new and reworked Battle Royale skinset.
  

FIXES AND CHANGES:

• Fixed the Store Icon for the G36 Battle Royale Skin
  
• Reworked the SWAT Armor. There were some cases of performance problems with it for some players.
  
• Improved the icons for the Crossbow.
  
• Reworked the icons for the B92 and all of its skins.
  
• Reworked the Hunter Backpack. It should now fit the character model better.
  
• Improved the Heavy Armor Cupido model.
  
• Improved the Heavy Armor Solari model.
  
• Improved the Heavy Armor Unicorn model.
  

[h2]SURVIVAL[/h2]
[h3]FIXES:[/h3]

• We made changes and moved around the walls around Ridgeway Airport (Colorado) to prevent glitching.
  
• Fixed a bug where Bus Stops wouldn't work properly in Beginner Servers.
  

[h2]ARCADE[/h2]
[h3]FIXES:[/h3]

• Fixed some player spawns in Colorado that could cause players to spawn inside objects.
  
• Removed all the Christmas Event content from the Trading Lounge.
  

[h2]BATTLE ROYALE[/h2]
[h3]FIXES:[/h3]

• Fixed a bug that could cause the kill count to be reset when revived.
  
• Fixed a visual bug that an item could persist (only visually) from the Warmup to the Match.
  

[h2]COMMUNITY POLL[/h2]
[h3]MOTO HELMET:[/h3]

• We ran an in-game poll about making the Moto Helmet an item on its own. Right now it's a skin for the K. Style Helmet which doesn't make a lot of sense. The stats are going to be the same and the change is planned for Patch 5.6.
  

The patch time will be today, 10.02.2022 at around 1:00 PM CET.

We are going to start a small event today. As you might already be seen, we are changing the way how we do "weekend events". If not, check out the post right HERE.

We are going to change the Battle Royale map to Arizona V2 and turn on an event called Sniper Only but of course, you will find small weapons to fight the zombies.
Little note to this: The loot is cached, so it could still spawn some other weapons. It will fix itself.

Also, the following will happen:

• PVP: Hangar exchanged with School
  
• Competitive: Competitive V2 Skinbox release
  

From now you will be able to obtain the new Competitive V2 Skinbox by winning a Competitive match. The previous skinbox will be legacy after.
