The Winter Update is Halo Infinite’s largest feature update yet and arrives on November 8, bringing highly anticipated experiences and content across the entire game. Amongst many new additions (including Campaign Network Co-Op, the Forge Beta, and a free 30-tier Battle Pass) are two new maps and a new mode, which we’re going to delve into more detail on today.

[h3]Map | Argyle[/h3]



Set within the narrow corridors of a UNSC vessel, Argyle comes to Halo Infinite as one of the first multiplayer maps to be built entirely within Forge.

This tight, indoor, symmetrical map makes for a competitive arena environment that showcases merely a fraction of what the Forge tool is capable of.

Also built entirely within Forge, Detachment comes to Halo Infinite as an all-new symmetrical arena map.

Set atop a rocky outcropping, this once-abandoned UNSC research facility is composed of indoor and outdoor environments, providing opportunities for dynamic combat that suits a variety of game modes and play styles.

[h3]Mode | Covert One Flag[/h3]

Covert One Flag joins Halo Infinite as a unique variant of One Flag CTF. In this round-based mode, attackers and defenders swap sides as they battle for control of a single flag.

Asymmetric team loadouts equip attackers with Active Camo to help sneak their way past enemy defense while defenders possess Threat Sensors to help spot the intruders. The team who wins the majority of rounds wins the match.

Fracture: Entrenched returns for the final time from October 25 to November 1!

This is Week 6 of 6 for the Entrenched event, the last opportunity for you to acquire up to 30 tiers of unique cosmetics and rewards for your EAGLESTRIKE armor core.

Head over to the Land Grab event playlist and complete event-specific Challenges to earn reward tiers in your Event Pass. Complete all of your Challenges to unlock this week’s Ultimate Reward, the Scarlet Hunter visor.

The Shop this week contains additional EAGLESTRIKE cosmetics, including the return of the Brodie Armor Set.

[h3]THE LAST SKY MARSHAL, PART 5[/h3]

With the final return of Fracture: Entrenched comes the conclusion of the event’s Story Shard—a choose your own adventure-style story directed by you, the community.

The assault on Luna to prevent the mutated abominations of the Covenant from completing the SCS Perpetua star-zeppelin saw further complications for the valiant Sky Marshals as Commander Kolby’s team perished holding a position for an off-mission detour that lost them valuable time.

With the Sky Marshals down to just a dozen soldiers, their numbers depleted by the Covenant’s madness-inducing nanocloud mists, their enemy – led by a Prophet – is preparing to leave and Commander Kolby is faced with a final decision that could decide the future of the Final War: attempt to take and deploy the SCS Perpetua for themselves, or detonate its reactor and leave a new crater on the moon.

[h2]FRACTURE: ENTRENCHED TANKER JACKET[/h2]

Halo Gear Rewards from the Xbox Gear Shop are exclusive physical products players can earn access to after completing specific in-game challenges. The first of these is the Fracture: Entrenched Tanker Jacket.



Fracture: Entrenched is in its final week, meaning this is your last opportunity to complete the Event Pass and qualify for this Halo Gear Reward item.

Note that if you haven’t started your Event Pass, Week 4 of 6 was the final week you were able to do so in order to qualify by completing all 30 reward tiers, as each week allows you to complete up to 10 reward tiers.
