9/22/2020 - Released Version 1.1.0.173

• Fixed an issue in the beta feature Settings Optimizer where the Disable Start Menu Web Search option had a typo which prevented it from working.
• Added an Overrides section to Chill Boost. The minimum and maximum processor power state are now overridden by default to avoid confusion when the power state range of a user's base power plan does not allow Chill Boost to operate. The override can be disabled so that Chill Boost will stay within the range of the base power scheme like before.
• Fixed an issue with Chill Boost Automatic Calibration where the standard operation of Chill Boost was interfering with auto calibration results.
• Improved Chill Boost Automatic Calibration to detect and remove bad data. This increases the chances of successfully calibrating on some devices that previously would not fully complete the calibration process. The new strategy requires more test runs, but for devices that were already working well, the speed can now be be turned up much higher without issue.
• Included Auto Start and Launch Menu Ring on Start options to the Welcome flyout to make it easier for new users to find them.
• Added an option to temporarily disable a free trial period.
• Fixed an issue with inter process communication. This issue was causing the Microphone Manager user interface to sometimes fail, and may have been causing other strange behaviors in features that use separate processes.
• When closing the ring menu in the taskbar, now the ring menu will close and a notification will be shown with additional options for accessing the ring menu settings or closing the entire tool.

This is a large update to Simplode Suite. This release includes improvements and bug fixes across the board.

• The free functionality of the application has been massively expanded. In this version, every single feature is either simply available for free, or can be selected as your one free feature. This way, all who discover the product in search of some specific functionality will be able to get that functionality instantly and for free. My hope is that users will convert to customers when they discover they like the product and want more. The free select feature can be changed as many times as you like, but once you make a selection, you must wait 24 hours to change it.
• Added the free feature of the day. In conjuction with the free select feature, the free feature of the day gives the user as many chances as they need to try out other parts of the software in a daily rotation.
• The free trial system has been overhauled. Registration is no longer required. Upon installation, you automatically receive a free trial of all features for 24 hours. Additionally, you can enable the free trial up to 3 more times, each for 24 hours.
• Steam integration has been prepared, but must remain disabled until the actual Steam release occurs. The website download version will support the same Steam integrated features as the Steam installed version. The application will need an update after the Steam release to unlock the Steam integration.
• Added Achievements feature. This feature will be compatible with Steam Achievements, but can also work without Steam, with options to prevent sending statistics to Steam.
• When right clicking on the background of a menu ring, the flyout window for the menu will now appear.
• Fixed crash when audio device is not detected. User is now notified about the failure and the program continues to function.
• Made adjustments to DPI settings detection.
• Adjusted per monitor DPI handling.
• Added DPI scaling to window tabs.
• Mitigated issue with per monitor DPI scaling by waiting for windows to finish moving before changing scale.

• Added action button tool tips. The tool tips can be adjusted or disabled in the Toggle Ring Menu action details.

• Added Stand feature, which periodically shows full screen semi-transparent reminders to do things like stand up for health reasons, or anything else you need to remind yourself. The messages can optionally be delivered at opportune times by watching mice, keyboards, and gamepads for a time where you are not busy. This feature will be included for free because of its potential health benefits.
• Added Smart Focus feature to move newly focused windows to the location of your cursor or open your start menu to whichever monitor your cursor is on when hitting the operating system key.

• Fixed a window positioning bug that impacted minimized windows.

• When using a grouping hotkey while a window is being moved, the window grouping system becomes glitched. Added a check to prevent window grouping while a window is still being moved.

• Fixed bug where in some circumstances, virtually maximized groups would forget how to go back to their original shape when restored.

• Fixed bug in Microphone Manager where devices that report unusable volume ranges can prevent the entire microphone manager from working.
• Increased the size of numeric fields throughout the application.
• Improved the communication mechanism between Simplode Suite processes. Before, all communication was handled by WCF services over named pipes, where each coprocess needed its own stateful connection to the main process. Most of this communication has been replaced by a custom multicast implementation over shared memory. The primary reason for this change is that the WCF implementation made finding and fixing communication issues very complicated. However, the custom solution also created an opportunity to improve performance and efficiency.
• Set a minimum size for cropped screenshots to avoid accidental tiny dot sized screenshot windows.
• Added the ability for cropped screenshots to include the cursor.
• Auto start with admin rights now works on a per user basis.
• Fixed bug where settings can get mixed up between operating system profiles if one user leaves the tool running when switching to another user who also runs the tool.
• Made some improvements on how Simplode Suite windows layer themselves in front of and behind eachother and other windows.

-Included Tiling Window Manager action, which is just a more cohesive way to expose the existing window grouping functions.
-Added a new way to exit the tool. If the task bar icon is enabled, right clicking and closing will hide the ring menu. If the ring menu is already hidden, right clicking and closing will ask if you want to completely exit the tool, where you can answer yes to completely exit the tool.
