• Included a DPI fix for older operating system versions.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the tool to become unresponsive after a rendering failure.
• Fixed an issue when using the tool to launch other programs, they would not have a working directory causing some programs to fail.
• Made improvements to window detection to make it more reliable and up to date, helping the tiling window manager and other features that target application windows to work more reliably.
• Added "(Language)" to the label for the language selector, in case you change the language and can no longer find the language option.
• Added a webcam settings editor utility in beta.
• Fixed issue when uninstalling the Steam edition of the product with auto start enabled, a useless task scheduler entry would remain post installation.
• For the local documentation generation, fixed the super ring map animations.
• Added video references to the local documentation. The videos are still hosted remotely, but now they can be viewed within the local documentation.

I would imagine that many of you have been wanting to use the Virtual Touch Screen but do not have a KinectV2. Well, after years of work, it is time to announce that my new product, Virtual Touch Screen 2, will be in early access soon. It will have very low requirements and operate with a simple webcam rather than the KinectV2. Virtual Touch Screen 2 will be a standalone product, but in the future I may be able to provide full integration with Simplode Suite for maximum synergy.

I can't give a release date yet, but I can say the wait should not be very long. I am planning to have a play test soon and will be eager to receive feedback.

• Fixed issue with Virtual Touchscreen which would cause it to render incorrectly the first time it is launched after a device restart.
• Improved ability for Chill Boost Efficiency Locker to determine focus of related processes.
• Adjusted default settings of Chill Boost to make them more suitable for all devices.
• In the Settings Optimizer, added the Disable Search Box Suggestions toggle. This is a new way to disable web search in the Windows 11 start menu.

• Added option for Smart Focus to only impact newly opened windows.
• Fixed issue where the image preview box would fail when attempting to produce a file with a long name. The image preview box can now produce Unicode file names and will automatically shorten names that are too long.
• Fixed issue where Microphone Manager would fail when adding or removing an audio device.
• Updated Smart Focus to recognize newer naming scheme for start menu windows.
• Fixed bug in Smart Focus where full screen and old windows options were making the task switcher and start menu options ineffective.
• Added right click context menu to settings headers with an option to revert to default.
• Fixed an issue with Loudness Manager and Microphone Manager which caused them to act on new or reconnected devices of the wrong type.
• Disabled mouse wheel zooming by default. This feature was found to be disruptive when accidentally triggered by users who are unaware of the feature. It was also removed from the polite preset.
• Due to new users being overwhelmed by the sheer number of features available in Simplode Suite, the automatic free trial has been removed. Three free trial periods are still available and can be found quickly in the welcome screen.
• Window hover linking is now disabled by default to avoid bothering new users who do not want to use the feature. It will be automatically enabled in the Normal and Wild preset modes.

• Fixed an issue where some drop down lists would incorrectly show ID numbers instead of meaningful names.
• Added the Mouse Lock feature, which lets you lock the cursor down to a specific window or in some cases unlock the cursor from a window which locked it.
• Keyboard Dynamic Repeat and Repeat Next Key now attempts to also match the portion of time which you were pressing the button.
• Added Screen Stream Guard as an experimental beta feature. Screen Stream Guard protects unwanted windows from appearing on screen.
• Improved efficiency of the Microphone Manager.
• Reduced input lag in some cases where keyboard hooks were unnecessarily activated.
• Adjusted inter-process communication code to possibly solve a rare performance issue.
• Microphone Manager, Loudness Manager, Chill Boost, and Input process default priorities have been lowered from Real Time to High.
