It has been more than a year since the last time we communicated with all players, we were unable to publish Steam official announcements about "FAR AWAY" without publishing ownership. Unfortunately, Thermite Games, former publisher of "FAR AWAY", who had the direct right to update everything, didn't respond to duty either. We are deeply regretful for the situation.
Good news is, our lawsuit with Thermite Games was done in recent days, Gratesca has taken back the publishing right of "FAR AWAY", and we are honored to continue our service to you again!
Let's talk about the result of our lawsuit briefly:
[h3]We are currently working on several tasks, including:[/h3]
First of all, "FAR AWAY" will bundle with "Noctuary", with an extra discount of 25%.
"Noctuary" is the second product of Gratesca studio after "FAR AWAY", and currently thumbed by 93% positive reviews.
Comparing to "FAR AWAY", "Noctuary" not only offers visual novel stories but also combined with action combat. It's a more aesthetic, fantasy, and even an absurd epic. As a collection of all Gratesca titles, we welcome players to purchase the bundle rationally.
Next, the Steam summer sale will start on 28th June, the base game of "FAR AWAY" will be discounted by 55%, "THE ART STORY OF FAR AWAY" will be discounted by 35%; the base game of "Noctuary" will be available at a 35% discount and the soundtrack DLC and artbook DLC are free. These are all in historical low discount.
Last but not least, the story of "FAR AWAY" will be "staged" elsewhere.
We are pleased to announce that the "Noctuary" DLC will feature a guest appearance by Krosa. The "Noctuary" DLC (new stories, new controllable players, skip function...) will be released for free, players who have purchased "Noctuary" will be able to enjoy all DLCs without additional cost.
PS: We anticipate launching the international PC version of "FAR AWAY" in Q3~Q4 of this year (at which time, English will be implemented for free). For specific details, please follow Gratesca Studio's Twitter and the Steam store.

- The court confirmed that the contract between Gratesca studio and Thermite Games was terminated since 17th April, 2023.
- The court confirmed that Thermite Games should transfer all the Steam rights of "FAR AWAY" back to Gratesca studio.
- Thermite Games should return part of the revenue share back to Gratesca since the contract was terminated.
- Thermite Games bears the full responsibilities of Kickstarter project refunds and the full responsibilities of finishing MoDian project.
