Last chance to particpate pre-alpha testing!

Hi, Bravelanders.

In recent months we've been working on our new project, Knights of Braveland, with redoubled vigor. To make the game better suited to the expectations of players, we're sending our fans a test build, a pre-alpha. In this short article we will explain how it helps us and why you should join the testing.

For us, the pre-alpha is a great way to see how people interact with the game, what appeals to them, and what causes confusion or irritation. Users reveal problems in the game that we never thought possible!

Improper balance, bad interfaces, errors and typos. Every little thing in the game should be convenient and understandable to the players, but it is impossible to track all of these little things, especially being a small team. Only with you we can make the game really interesting, fun and intuitive!

For players, the pre-alpha is an opportunity to peek behind the scenes, to see what the game is like when we're not yet ready for its release. Dozens of volunteer testers have already received the pre-alpha, and we regularly listen to their feedback and improve the game based on it. It pleases us to see our brainchild getting better with each series of edits - as if players are already bringing life into it.
But development is coming to the finish line - the release is approaching, and there are fewer and fewer major changes that need to be made to the game.

In a few days we will stop sending out pre-alpha and focus on polishing the game - we still have a lot of tedious and unsightly work to do. Optimization, server infrastructure, fixing mistakes in animations and illustrations, working with sound. The list goes on forever.

Therefore now is your last chance to participate in the pre-alpha testing, and to see the new game first.

For all of you waiting for Knights of Braveland, we've got some good news - we'll start sending out the pre-alpha version before the end of August! However, there's also a spoon of tar in a barrel of honey. Unfortunately our Mailchimp account got deleted and we lost the addresses for sending out the pre-alpha - now we just don't know where to send the build.
