Mist Legacy News

Hail to the Somberseason!

You get up today with a strange feeling, as if something has changed. After a moment of panic triggered by the belief that the veil of the Mists had just fallen, you realize that it is only the change of seasons that affects the vegetation on your domain.

Later, passing by Kortombe Market, you notice that people greet each other with playful phrases citing the Somberseason. With a little investigation, you understand that a festivity organized by the Circle of the Great Tree is going to start soon.

A should really visit to Maratatinus.

Early Access: Week 3

Greetings!

This is the end of our third week of the Early Access! Many new players have experienced the game this week and we are starting to have more data on the player's progression.

On the technical site, we are still working hard on stability and we are happy to see that, even if we still have problems, the game is improving at a steady pace. We are working on ways for the client to recover from connection failures right now. We think we will need another week on that, but we could release some surprises.

Regarding the game content, first we will be releasing a few game balance update. These changes will be about the day/night cycle and about the durability unbalance of some part of the game.

We are also doing a database analysis to see how the players are progressing. It's very cool to talk with you on Discord, the chat or on Steam forum but there is always a silent part of the players that just play and give no feedback. To see how these players are progressing we need to go inside the data.

Based on the data, we see that the majority of current active players have not yet reached the end of the available content. Yet, based on the study of those who has, we should reach a point in November where many people will be waiting for new content.

It should be possible for us to deliver a content update on time, our next big update should normally focus on raising reputation score everywhere in the game so you can get new combat talents and recipes. This mean new quests, new challenges, new boss and new companions.

See you in the game!
