Improvement to the group system!

Greetings,

Today we are releasing our last content update of 2021.

On the content side, you'll be able to progress with the Circle of the Great tree and with the Arcanists to get new spells for damage and heal. We also got a lot of cool changes in the game engine related to gathering, fighting and getting landform skill. Check out the changelog for more details.

The biggest change today has to do with the game shop. We got lots of comments about how you can form a party in the game and how it is perceived by new players. To improve the game experiences, the first thing we did is to create a dedicated slot for the carts. It means that a new player can now have two companions and a cart. This will improve a lot the experience of everyone and make the game much easier for players who want to play solo.

The second major change we did on the market is to lower the price of the second companion’s slot, making it more accessible for everyone will improve the balance of the game. Everyone that already purchased it will be reimbursed 400 Blue Crowns.

To make sure our system is understood, we changed the presentation of the game shop. Now you will find a dedicated page for the unlocks and Scissana will give you hints about each purchasable item. We hope this page will make our monetization system much more understandable and remove the "surprise effect" that our old system generated.

The team will take a short break for next week. It will be a good time for us to take a step back and think about all that we will have to do in 2022.

  • The cart no longer uses a free companion slot. So you are always able to bring one with you.
  • New group user interface.
  • The fifth group companion slot price has been reduced to 1200 BC. Players who bought it at full price will receive 400 BC back.
  • Shop UI redesign to show unlockable slots all at once.
  • Combat now grants terrain skill experience if victorious.
  • You can now "Recraft" an item in your coffer if you have the recipe.
  • There is now a small chance to trigger a +1, +2 or +3 bonus on resource gathering.
  • Weapon use skills are now available in the skills filter menu.

  • Market item usability now displays the correct skill value.
  • Fixed items durability not being updated upon fleeing a combat.
  • Fixed some rare issue where a withdraw could cause a disconnect.
  • Fixed an issue where the game client computed Next Daily and Next Weekly wrong.
  • Cure ability should now only cure alteration with poison damage.
  • Fixed coffers and market where items could be in the wrong category.
  • Fixed an issue where the maximum crafting quantity of a stackable item could be wrong and caused a disconnect upon crafting.
  • When abandoning or failing an escort scenario, if the event gave a location, the location is now correctly removed.
  • Fixed some spell animation delay and end of combat delay.
  • Fixed shortcut target number key in combat could stop working on summoned enemies.

The Chillwind has come!


You get up from your bed with a strange feeling. The lighting is not the same, everything is brighter. You approach the window and you understand what is going on. The Windchill has started, winter has fallen on Valsonge and the Mists. To your surprise, the lands of Ordval do not yet appear to be affected by the Windchill. What does it mean? Is this a clue about your domain's position in relation to Kortombe? Or maybe the seasons of the world outside the Mists are in no way related to those of your native land?

This new change of season brings you more questions than answers on the temporal and geographical links between Mists and Myriaden. You will need all your courage to continue your exploration in this cold weather. Luckily for you, Scissanna has a good supply of supon for the fireplace and Ovie will be able to stay warm inside the mansion.


[h2]December 15 - Version: 0.1.8.0[/h2]

[h3]Features and Changes[/h3]
  • Chillwind event is up with a new player frame and a new pet.
  • Cosmetic items are now available in the shop with the thematic of the Chillwind event.
  • Other players will now be visible in the same region as you. Max 10 players visible. A setting has been added to hide these unknown players in the options window.
  • Ressources tooltip to gather now shows quantity in have in your coffers.
  • Removed the market fee to sell items.


[h3]Fixes[/h3]
  • In combat, when spamming a key to attack, it should no longer make the toolbar stick sometime.
  • Rylenback heroic had one of his mechanics not working properly. If you have the achievement, you are welcome to try again for a nice challenge.
  • The sleep button should no longer fail when a fitting item to sleep is present in the backpack.
  • Fixed the WASD key that sometimes stopped working.
  • Fixed the missing 1 of materials during crafting of stackable items.
  • Fixed an issue where you could start moving while gathering if the Wait command was used before and right next to a node.
  • When an item breaks, skills are updated right away.
  • Bound status is no longer lost when an item is upgraded.
  • Fixed a rare issue where a location would stay closed upon taking a new repeatable quest.

  • Rylenback normal had a small tweak to make him a little more interesting.
  • Forest Cave difficulty lowered to 41.
  • Part of Minotroll is now 37 in cavern skill requirements.
  • Ruins of the Swamp quest line.
  • Tweaked the game introduction for new players.
  • Daily and Weekly quest now gives more gold that scale with what is required.


Time to Explore More of Myriaden


Greetings,

Today update is massive in scale. We needed to increase your playground, both in territories and skill caps, for our future content updates. For our players that have been with us for a while, it should give you back the feeling of progressing in the game, with skill that needs to be raised, recipe that needs to be found, new regions to discover and buildings to upgrade. For new players, the game progression will be much more natural as you should not hit a hard cap on skills. See the release note below for more details.

What's on our task list next? We are preparing a special release for next week and we need to take some time to analyze the many comments you sent us. We will be looking for changes that are needed in the core of the game to make sure our foundations are solid.

You can expect that we will reach the next level of all reputation caps that are late (Circle, Rose, Hippogriff, Gantras and Thorval) before 2022. This mean we will start the new year with all we need to get the game to the next step.

We are entering today our last week of our "Portal Pioneer" event. It means this is your last chance to get the exclusive character frame that will show that you are an early adopter of the game.

[h3]Features and Changes[/h3]
  • Alteration on heal and damage now display the real value.
  • Skill progression difficulties adjustments.
  • Tooltip of a skill now has a tip about how to make further progress.
  • Durability lost on weapons no longer scale up when fighting monsters of higher level.
  • Abilities with more than 1 hit will not use more durability than a single hit anymore.
  • Durability won’t go down on PvP situation.
  • Flee is not killing you anymore. It now tries to flee the combat. If succeed, you are out and good. If fail, monsters will perform a round. At same level, there is a 65% of succeed. There is a slight penalty or bonus to flee depending on the level offset of the player versus the highest monster level.
  • Unavoidable ambush removed from a lot of outside open regions during the day. Dungeons and night are still like before.
  • Combat experience will be gained a bit faster, especially early in the game.
  • Monsters over level 25 don’t have bonus life point anymore.

  • Alteration on heal and damage now display the real value.
  • Fixed a situation where sometimes, weapon of a companion would not show the correct durability status.
  • Fixed the tiny resource popup.
  • Chat will truncate extra space to prevent unwanted behavior.
  • Better handling of the situation where the owner of a combat flee while another player joins at the same time.

Minotroll War

Greetings!

Welcome to the Minotroll update. As part of our weekly topic on long-term gameplay, we are testing a few things about grinding and also how to avoid it. The update offers plenty of challenges that are not all required to reach your goal to get to the new reputation level for the Claw and to get the new warehouse. There are also a few secret challenges that you should search for.

Keep in mind that some of the challenges for this week should normally be a bit harder than usual because next week update should unlock a lot of new talents, skills and crafts. That's the fun of playing an Early Access!

A major change in the game engine is the removal of the "Fight" button. This button was breaking many of the gameplay elements and was dangerous for new players. We finally got the time to work on the features we always wanted to have, a button that emulates travel and will offer you fights based on presence ratios and special conditions to appear.

November 23 - Version: 0.1.6.0

Features and Changes
· Ability use in combat now puts all related abilities regardless of their level on cooldown.
· Alteration on different level from the same talent cannot be stacked anymore. The strongest alteration will prevail.
· Alteration tooltip in combat now shows the level of the alteration
· Ability that removes alterations now specifies in their description what alteration level it can remove.
· Character sheet now displays a large view of the character. This view also has a button to copy the character image to the clipboard. Come show us your fashion sense in Discord!
· Usable items such as potions and bandages no longer have cooldowns.
· Items with no encumbrance do not take coffers space anymore.
· Resources on the world map now shows quantity left (if on cooldown, no quantity is displayed). And the tooltip now displays the time left if on cooldown.
· Weapon training in combat will trigger on all abilities.
· When required to enter a quantity, there is a now TextBox to enter the exact quantity without relaying on the Slider only.
· The Fight button has been replaced with a "Wait" button. Once pressed, monsters will pop around you instead of instantly starting a fight.
· There is no shortcut key anymore to attack the nearest enemy. This feature was barely known or even used, and made life of Bot really easy.

Fixes
· Fixed an issue where the game can become slow over a long play session.
· All locations on the world map now has a tooltip.
· Quest marker on the world map won’t be hidden behind another icon anymore.
· At the start of a fight, dead companions do not take a slot in a fight anymore so it allows friend to join
· The character portrait now update itself when an item has been dyed.
· Dazed target cannot counterstrike anymore.

Content Changes
· Light buff on weapons greatly increased.
· The warehouse building recipe is now obtainable.
· The next reputation level for the Claw can now be reached.
· Perfume recipes are now obtainable.
· Minotroll cave dungeon.
· Max level increased to 30.
· Adventure skills cap raised by 2.
· Alchemy and Herbalism cap raised by 2.
· Beds and Ladders balancing (nerfed).
· New NPC 'Boldar of Maliken' with a special challenge.
· New NPC 'Nosezandertal's shaman' for the Claw.
