CHART COMPATIBILITY! Update #3

Hello to all VR guitarists!

After numerous requests we can announce that you can now finally play with your maps in chart format (the same used by other games like clone hero)!

Besides the compatibility with the chart format you could now use the "Moonscraper" chart editor tool to create your maps.
The import is very simple, just insert your files in the "ChartsToImport" folder inside the installation files of the game. You can find a complete guide at the following link.

Next Updates
In the next updates we intend to further improve by supporting open notes, to give to hammering/sliding a better usability and visual feedback.

Rocking Legend Update #2 (Plectrum/Pick FIX)

Hello to all VR guitarists!
Today is the time for a new update ! This is mainly aimed to fix the pick following the feedback received, below you can read the details about what has been improved:

- Pick/Plectrum fix: Now when you move the pick up through the string it is not marked as an error, so you can now play all the notes without the need of alternating strums up and down. You can still strum upwards to play notes though.

- Leaderboard fix: you can now correctly retrieve leaderboard results even if you never played that level

- misc improvements for note playing feedback

WINDOWS MIXED REALITY COMPATIBILITY

Hello ! We are pleased to announce that Rocking Hero is officially compatible with Windows Mixed Reality!

Rocking Hero Update #1

Hello to all VR guitarists!
First of all we wanted to thank you for the support you're giving us for the release of Rocking Hero!
We've seen a lot of videos and comments full of opinions and feeedbacks and took a look at your first comments to understand what we need to improve in the next updates.

This first update comes with some quality of life improvements and some fixes:

Patch 1 content:
- A 3 seconds countdown starts on resuming from pause in-game
- Volume slider in the pause and in the setting menus
- A rebindable button to recenter the playspace rotation (keyboard control or xbox back button by default)
- Added some tutorial texts, guiding you to hook the guitar, or how to do the calibration gesture after some failed attempts.
- Fixed some Leaderboard related bugs (you actually see few peoples in leaderboards because of that)
- Hand slide sensitivity range increased and can be more finely tuned
- Fix for a case of wrong fret activation bug
- Minor fixes and text changes

We'll release incremental updates addressing to improve playability and accessibility (plectrum/pick should be in the next one). We are listening to you and we want to give you the best game possible!

Rocking Legend will be released on August 6, 2020 !

We are really excited to announce that Rocking Hero will be officially released on August 6, 2020 on Steam VR!
We've taken advantage of this time to add additional features before the release in early access.
Following feedback from some users of the private beta we made some improvements to user experience, optimized the lighting system in order to improve performance, integrated LIV support, and above all we greatly expanded the compatibility with the third party's guitars and physical controllers available for PC and consoles!
There are more features that will come soon after the launch in early access, we are eager to share with you what we are working on!
