Blightbound cosmetics are FINALLY in-game! There are 4 cosmetics items, a nameplate and 3 weapon skins, 1 for each class! These cosmetics items only change the look of the weapons you have equipped, the perks and abilities of your equipped weapons are still active. These cosmetics items are only visual and give no gameplay advantage.

Zerrish Nameplate
Equip the Zerrish Nameplate and let your fellow players know that you worship Zerrish the Viper God! 🐍


Bolt Blades
Get ready to shock, electrify, and zap your enemies with the Bolt Blades cosmetics. Equip the Bolt Blades on your Assassins and backstab your way to victory! 🗡️


Cyber Set
Chuck on you holo-glasses, power up your hover bikes and equip the Cyber Set cosmetics to your Warrior class heroes! 🛡️


Fancy Flamingo
Feeling pink and fancy? Bored of edgy staffs? Equip the Fancy Flamingo cosmetic on your Mages and make them the fanciest and most magical heroes in Blightbound! 🦩


[h3]How to obtain them?[/h3]
Currently, the only way to obtain them is as channel point rewards by earning Roni Points through watching our streams every Monday and Thursday at 7pm CET 1pm ET 10am PT on our Twitch Channel.
But if you can’t make it to the streams, rest assured, there will be opportunities to acquire these cosmetics both in-game and out of game!

[h3]Patch Notes 0.7.1 (Hotfix)[/h3]

• Heroes with all stat points on max value no longer show the notification icon for available stat points to assign.
  
• Fixed an issue where the hero unlock animation would play every time when a player returns to the refuge.
  
• Fixed an issue where the ‘Play’ button would be disabled if the player is viewing a hero who is the same class as a hero a teammate had already selected.
  
• Fixed an issue where all bounties would be completed upon leaving a level, leading to players being able to claim an infinite amount of Aetheri Crystals.
  

(So this was in the live game for about 40 hours 😅)




[h3]Cosmetics[/h3]

Cosmetics are currently not yet in the live build. We've run into an issue where the cosmetics would not unlock for non-developer accounts even after redeeming a Steam DLC key. We're currently investigating and fixing this issue. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next hotfix (hopefully next week), we'll be sure to keep you updated!

[h3]The Final Charge is upon us! Update 0.7 is the biggest update we’ve had with a host of new features and an abundance of changes to all areas including visual, AI, gameplay, items, refuge, interface, networking, and general changes. [/h3]

[h2]Commander Clegg[/h2]

Leading the charge is a new hero: Commander Clegg! Heading into battle with his legion of Phalanxes.




[h2]Blightrifts[/h2]

A new evil has spawned with a new rarest tier of loot to be gathered if this evil can be defeated. Blightrifts. These are challenge rooms that have a chance of spawning in higher level dungeons, defeat these challenge rooms and unlock the rarest Blighted Items!

• The Rift of Separation: Defeat waves of enemies while the Mage is trapped in a magical dome!
  
  
  
  
  
• The Rift of Gathering: Prismix the Blood Mage has a hunger for Mana orbs, satisfy that hunger and escape with your lives!
  
  
  
  
  
• Rift of Running: Don’t waste your head start, stay clear and ahead of the giant Amalgamation while solving puzzles and dodging traps!
  
  
  
  
• The Rift of Bowling: A foe has become a friend? Kill enemies by hitting the Writhing Orb towards them!
  

If you are downed in a challenge room, not to worry, you will be teleported back to the dungeon where you entered the Blightrift and no progress will be lost in your run. But you must complete Blightrifts if you want to get your hands on the elusive Blighted Items!




[h2]New Legendary Items[/h2]

We have introduced 5 new Legendary items, including a community submission!

• Vortex Blade: A community item from the item contest. Equip the Vortex Blade on a Warrior, gain rage, and pull your enemies close for devastating blows!
  
  
  
  
• Manaburst Brooch: Equip this on your favourite hero and create an explosion every time you pick up a mana orb.
  
  
  
  
• Mechanical Wheel: Need to be more nimble, get an extra dodge with this new item!
  
• Shining Prism: Big of character resources? Shining Prism has you covered.
  
• Umbra Cloak: Extra sneaky? Extra damage!
  

[h2]Improved AI[/h2]

For players who prefer to grind with bots, we've thoroughly improved the AI for when you need to rely on your 2 bot teammates, who will appear in less than 5 seconds once you enter matchmaking!


[h2]Here are some other highlights coming to Update 0.7: Final Charge![/h2]

• The Tutorial level has been updated! Gameplay mechanics are now explained more clearly, and encounters have been adjusted to give new players more time and room to learn certain game mechanics.
  
• General optimisation, bug fixes, player experience improvements, crash preventions, and many more overall improvements and fixes.
  
• All lore and narrative texts have now also been translated into all supported languages (previously only functional texts were translated).

Equip the Fancy Flamingo cosmetic for the Mage class available in Update 0.7: Final Charge arriving later this month! The Fancy Flamingo staff offers no gameplay advantages, it’s purely cosmetic so you can show your friends how fancy and how flamingo-y you are 👌

Tune in to Streamisho tomorrow at 7pm CET where Niel will attempt to cosplay as Kujuk and “build” the Fancy Flamingo staff out of real life items!

[h3]How to get Blightbound Cosmetics?[/h3]

Currently, the only way to obtain the Blightbound cosmetics is to redeem them with Roni Points obtained by watching Streamishos on the Official Ronimo Twitch Channel every Monday and Thursday at 7pm CET. But after hearing your feedback, we are (and have been) brainstorming other ways where players (and viewers) can engage and interact with Blightbound (and Ronimo), and be rewarded with these cosmetics.

We have a few ideas, including rewarding these cosmetics by completing specific in-game challenges, but we still need to see how plausible it would be to build and implement new systems in game since our development resources are very stretched already as the whole studio is working very hard to get Blightbound ready for 0.7 and 1.0! We'll be sure to update you regarding other ways to obtain cosmetics before the end of the month 👍

Cosmetics will arrive in Blightbound along with Update 0.7: Final Charge! Each class, Warrior, Assassin, and Mage will receive its own unique cosmetic item! These sweet daggers are Bolt Blades ⚡⚡ which are the cosmetic item for the Assassin class.

What’s even better, these cosmetic items will all be FREE and redeemable using Roni Points (Twitch channel points)! This is how you get them:

2. Automatically receive Roni Points by watching Streamishos live every Monday and Thursday @ 7pm CET 1pm ET 10am PT
3. Redeem skins using Roni Points

There will be a more in-depth guide on how to redeem cosmetic items once they have been added into the game in 0.7 at the end of this month! But you can already stock up on channel points so you can get your cosmetic items as soon as 0.7 drops!
