Hotfix 0.5.2 Patch Notes

General
- Fixed a bug where characters would sometimes duplicate.
- The refuge no longer hard-locks if a player pressed Alt+F4 after assigning stat points but before equipping an item during the guided part of the tutorial.


Gameplay
- Fixed a bug where projectiles would sometimes not spawn.

Hotfix 0.5.1 Patch Notes



New Features - Naxx and Kruxx now have unique visuals to accompany their status as bosses in the game.

Tutorial - Fixed a rare issue in the Tutorial, where the player would sometimes be teleported out of bounds when switching from Scarlet to Korrus.
- Reaching a checkpoint in the tutorial should no longer potentially softlock the game.
- It is no longer possible to skip checkpoints by teleporting with Korrus.


Gameplay - Fixed an issue where Mages would occasionally slide during their auto-attack animation.
- Tek'ka's passive now functions correctly when aiming his primary attack with a controller; the game does not register the aiming as movement anymore.


Items - Mwaan's Half Moon now only grants 20% cooldown reduction instead of 50%, when used in combination with the Chakram ability. This item in combination with other high cooldown reduction items introduced unintended gameplay where cooldowns were reduced too much. This has also been updated in the item description to correctly include percentages.

Refuge - Byrinth now has the correct portrait in the Bestiary.
- Totems summoned by the Sinful Totemist no longer trigger a Bestiary notification.
- The stats panel now shows up when using 16:10 resolutions.
- Enemy type labels are now visible in the Bestiary.


Levels - Fixed some rare cases where enemies would remain invincible in the side-rooms of the Underhold Depths.

Networking - Host migration will no longer leave players in a state where the exit to a room leads them into the same room.

The biggest update yet is all geared up! Out now for all to delve into! And there's actually lots of new dungeon delving to do. Not only have we added another dungeon, but all dungeons now have their encounters randomized!

On the technical side big steps have been taken as well. New optimisations have led to a performance increase of up to 50%! Another technical improvement comes in the form of host migration, finally allowing you to continue even when the host loses connection.

Another focus has been the overhauling and cleaning of the menus. The biggest change here is the addition of a hero select screen, which makes selecting heroes a lot more straightforward. Of course, these new elements also meant that we had to change the initial tutorial flow, and we decided to not just fix but also improve it a lot. This is an ongoing effort that will result in even more quality-of-life changes in the upcoming updates.

Finally, while cleaning up we've also decided to remove the Blight and Notoriety systems. While both served a thematic and gameplay purpose, their functionality wasn't optimal. In case of Blight, the stats effect was odd, and the intended incentive to play other heroes was undermined by Blight potions. As for Notoriety, it unfortunately punished players who wanted to play more when party members left. This removal also gives us a clean break and allows us to put more focus on the core systems.
