The Anniversary Update

We are proud to announce that Project Chemistry is getting out of Early Access with this update! We’ve added a ton of new features and refined the existing mechanics. With your help, we’ve localized the game so that more people can access it. We’ve added 92 new molecules, 517 new reactions and 42 new quests through Early Access. Quest Mode is now fully completable, you can unlock every element & molecule. Other than the in-game changes, Project Chemistry now has Steam trading cards.

As the early access period has ended, Project Chemistry will receive a price increase from $10 to $15 on June 29th.

Reaction Page:

We've seen the previous reaction page creating a lot of confusion, especially when a reaction has more than one "type" like the CO2 combustion reaction that is also a synthesis reaction. With the new and improved reactions page, these "types" are tags that are on the reaction button.

Periodic Table:

Well, the previous Periodic Table worked but we thought it could be better. We redesigned it to be more modern and improved the coloring options. They now use gradients instead of a few colors to better illustrate the change of a value. We also added new coloring options for Atomic Radius, Atomic Mass, Phase and a lot more.

Localizations:

You guys are amazing, at first we were not sure if we should try community localization as we thought there may not be enough interest but holy s*ht. You guys localized over 900 keys to 4 different languages and even fixed mistakes in the English version. Thank you guys very much.

Improvements:

-Upgraded the engine to Unity 2020.
-Redesigned the Reaction Page.
-Reaction buttons now mark the reactions that haven’t been conducted in quest mode.
-Redesigned the Periodic Table.

New Features:

-Added new language options.
-New achievements for completing certain quests and much more.
-Added a credits page to the main menu (for everyone who contributed to the localization)
-Added 26 new molecules.
-Added 276 new reactions.
-Added 8 new quests.

Bug Fixes:

-Fixed a bug where molecular elements’ molecule types would be displayed as N/A.
-Fixed a bunch of typos.
