Important!
This list is not complete due to some things we have yet to keep secret. Also, bear in mind that not everything will be implemented before the next version of the demo. However, we feel that these are the things that were mentioned most often, and we plan to improve them in the nearest future.

A few words about the Gun Director and Lookouts

Hi, Destroyer fans!

TGIF for two reasons. First, the weekend is close! Second, we have the fifth episode of our game tutorial for you! This time we will focus on Gun Director and Lookouts:

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The Gun Director houses the optics of the main gun battery and is used to make some damage to surfaced u-boats, but that's not all. Let's focus on the many options at your disposal.
Feedback!
We are still collecting feedback! Please post it under the demo announcement and on our Discord, where we answer your questions.

Tutorial part 4 - Tactical Range Recorder

Hi, Destroyer fans!

It's Friday, so you know exactly what that means... We have the fourth part of the tutorial for you, in which we're discussing TRR once more.

In order to determine the optimal time to fire depth charges you will need to input Destroyer's speed and target depth - how? Watch this video.
Check out other tutorials!
In a previous tutorial, we explained how to operate with sonar, and hinted at how to understand the TRR in a tutorial made from a player's point of view.
Feedback still needed
We are still collecting feedback! Please post it under the demo announcement and on our Discord, where we answer your questions.

Tutorial part 3 - Sonar room and TRR explanation

Hello, Destroyer enthusiasts!

It's Friday already, which means the marathon of great things is about to begin!

:anchor1: Firstly, the weekend is starting, secondly, our tutorial is coming up (this time we reveal the secrets of Sonar room), and as a bonus we're including a link to a TRR tutorial from a player's point of view, prepared by a member of our wonderful community!
Tutorial part 3 - Sonar
The tutorial for the sonar room has been split into two separate parts because both the sonar and TRR present in the sonar room require more explanation than the rest of the equipment.
Demo feedback
:anchor1: We are also still collecting feedback from you on our demo! If you want to discuss the gameplay and share your thoughts, join our Discord. It is thanks to the conversations there that we have already learned a few important things, such as that TRR needs more explanation. One of our community members Ghostdog688 also offered to create a tutorial from a player's point of view on the use of TRR, which we strongly encouraged him to do, and now we're providing the link, check it out!
Important! Demo FAQ
If you would like to stream or share the videos from the game, please note that the demo is a work in progress and that the scope of the final game will be much broader: bigger convoy formations, multiple U-boats attacking in wolfpacks, three additional AI escorts under the player’s command, and much more. Also, please bear in mind that:

:anchor1: Certain features and sound effects have not yet been polished to their fullest, e.g. the K-gun (depth charge launcher) sound is still being worked on and will be completely replaced.

:anchor1: We are in the process of toning down the AI’s efficiency and aggression level. It was near-perfect at some point, but later game development introduced several challenging elements that significantly lowered its ability to hurt the convoy. In the latest versions, we have vastly improved the U-boat’s efficiency again and it might be too much on the aggressive side at this point. All feedback on this will be much appreciated.

:anchor1: Many spoken reports and orders are still missing and will be introduced shortly. The lookouts will be able to spot torpedo wake, the sonarman will be able to hear torpedoes being fired, etc. We have plenty more material in that regard that we haven’t been able to implement yet.
We hope that you will enjoy the demo and that your feedback will help us tailor the game to your preferences.
