Payday 3 decides to launch without Denuvo right before release

Payday 3 is one of the most highly anticipated FPS games, and it'll be here soon. Ahead of its upcoming launch, Starbreeze Studios has been revealing more information about what players can expect to see in-game. Now, they've revealed what we can expect to not see. In an interesting last-minute change, the developer has announced that Payday 3 will no longer be releasing with Denuvo, a controversial anti-cheat and anti-tampering system.

PAYDAY 3's release is coming very close, and it's been a long time since we announced that PAYDAY 3's release date is on the 21st of September, with Silver/Gold owners being able to Play Early starting on the 18th. However, one popular reoccurring question has been; At what time?

We're nearing the launch date on September 21 (Early Access on September 18), but today we wanted to give you a glimpse of what's to come for Year 1 of PAYDAY 3 and its future content.

Besides 4 DLCs, with names yet to be fully determined, we'll also look at seasonal events, playable characters, new enemy, weapons, Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, cosmetics, quality of life improvements, new
