Hotfix Notes for version 1.0 - May 06, 2020

We have thought long and hard about this and will miss our medieval font of the last builds a little bit. But you have decided, "For all love, the legibility was not given."
We gave in to that, of course, and now we've decided to go for a more classic and clearer version. Have fun reading. We also found one/two loading bugs and added some UI panels.

Hotfix Notes for version 1.0 - May 05, 2020

This hotfix fixes a savegame bug that was reported to us today. Furthermore the tutorial was made more explanatory.

Engine

- fixed loading bug for save games
- fixed put down the knife after eviscerating wolves or deers
- fixed multiplying of deers


UI

- added UI panels and additional help for the tutorials

3D

- improved the start screen scene a little bit and added new market stands and props

Hotfix Notes for version 1.0 - May 04, 2020

We're happy to announce a new hotfix for Empires and Tribes. Some players had saving and loading issues, especially on the second campaign map. These bugs have been fixed now. Additionally we've added and improved some UI elements to give a little bit more feedback from the game, e.g. if an important event such as a fire takes place. Plus, we shortened the tutorial texts a little bit as some players complained about the length of the texts.

- disabled wolves in the tutorials and increased the amount of wolves in the wolf valley

UI

- added UI info text panel for major events
- added turn building documentation in settings and in build menu
- fixed eviscerating wolf text
- fixed visibility of the experience popup window
- fixed visibility of the tutorial arrows
- optimized the tutorial texts
- increased tutorial text skip time in the player char creation window in the main menu
- increased the decision time in the council meeting

We' re happy to announce the first patch for Empires and Tribes! It's not much, but it's important. Now you should be able to start the campaign and the tutorials correctly.

  • The player selection buttons in the main menu will be displayed at the right position
  • The second campaign is playable now
  • We changed the loading algorithm. Your machine will get more feedback during loading time and will therefore know all the time, that we're actually loading stuff. Plus: you'll see the progress in the progress-bar. Plus: we added a new static loading image. More images and texts like tipps are about to come.
  • Stones will be placed at the correct terrain height.
  • The animation set of the monk will work correctly and therefore prevent the monk from floating around.
