v5.0.20

 • Fixed an issue where initial crows would not respond to UV from any player
 • Fixed issues with falling through the tunnel floor
 • Fixed jump scares not working correctly in VR
 • Allow AI and players to run around the tunnel entrance to prevent AI becoming stuck

Note: All fixes specific to the Manor
Note: All players must update to this version to play together

v5.0.19

We're aware that some of you are finding the crows a little feisty. Read below to see the before/after changes to the maximum number of crows that can be alive at the same time based on difficulty and player count.

Note: These are the numbers when on 9/10 sacrifices. They start lower and scale up as you increase progress.
Single Player
• Normal: 5 -> 3
 • Hard: 5 -> 4
 • Nightmare: 8
2 players
• Normal: 7 -> 5
 • Hard: 7 -> 6
 • Nightmare: 10
3 players
• Normal: 9 -> 7
 • Hard: 9 -> 8
 • Nightmare: 12
4 players
• Normal: 12 -> 10
 • Hard: 12 -> 11
 • Nightmare: 15

v5.0.18

 • Slightly reduced the chance that crows will leave perch points. This still scales up based on map progress. Essentially, crows will be patrolling the map a little less after this change.

v5.0.17

 • Fixed issues with rebinding certain buttons on controllers breaking controller navigation
 • Crows no longer get lost inside taller hedges on The Manor
 • Fixed a regression where Azazel Nathan could end up tilted after knocking out players on stairs causing his movement to break
 • Fixed a spot some items could be dropped and become unreachable on The Manor

Price change from September 27th 2024

Back in 2022, we mentioned the possibility of increasing the base price of Devour, but we decided to wait until what we felt was a more appropriate time.

From September 27th 2024, the price of Devour will be set to $9.99. (Note that Steam implements regional pricing for different countries)

Devour was created in 2021 by 2 friends. Back then, it was just a hobby project. There was only 1 map and almost no extra features. If you were lucky, you would get a single hour worth of gameplay! Almost 4 years later, DEVOUR has changed shape drastically. We've released many maps and features since then and our team has grown too.

We often hear from our community that they would have been happier paying a little more for the game, and we are really grateful for your generosity. This will allow us to continue developing DEVOUR to a high quality level.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
