Steam Deck Compatibility Overview

Each game in the collection is now labelled with an (unofficial) Steam Deck Verification.
Verified
• The game opens and runs well on the Deck.
 • The game is optimized to be played on controller or touchscreen.
Playable
• The game opens but doesn't run well on the Deck.
 • The game requires additional input devices like a mouse, keyboard, or multiple controllers.
Unsupported
• The game does not open or run on the Deck.

10 Second Painter 2.0.1.1

 • Updated to use WebView.

Steam Deck Compatibility Update

The review for Steam Deck compatibilty just got finished and unfortunately A Buttload of Free Games is currently marked as unsupported. Full transparency: it's because 10 Second Painter fails to launch on Steam deck.

The good news is the rest of the games should run fine and I continue to try to maintain support for Steam Deck with everything added to the collection. I'll be seeing if I can update 10 Second Painter to run properly on the Deck / Proton.

Despite being labelled unsupported, I encourage Steam Deck users to give the games a try anyways and let me know if any of them crash or fail to launch! Not every game will play well on Steam Deck since they don't all support controller input, but I try to make sure that they'll at least all run on the platform. If you ever encounter a crash, feel free to open a discussion post or message me directly about it!

I'll post another update if the verification status changes. The best the collection can possible get is a Playable label, but I'll count that as a win if it can reach it!
