How do you unlock the Remnant 2 Invader class? It's already hard enough to choose between the five starting archetypes in Remnant 2, but even when you've finally settled on one or two to pick, there are a bunch more to discover hidden in the game, just to make it that much difficult to settle on your perfect character. The Invader is just one of those, and we've got all the steps to get it below.

Picking classes is often one of the hardest parts about starting a new game, and Remnant 2 is no different. Well, it is actually, but only in the sense that there are even more classes to choose from as you progress. The further you explore and the more Remnant 2 bosses you defeat, the more archetype engrams you can uncover. PC players: Thanks so much for your feedback and support for Remnant 2 while it’s been in Early Access!

We've released a hotfix to Remnant 2 for PC (Steam & Epic) with menu UI performance improvements, bug fixes and toning down the player’s voice over comments as requested by Early Access players.

Progression Blocker Fix for Labyrinth cinematic crashing and key not being awarded.
Progression Blocker Fix for exiting out of first lab cinematic and not receiving the zone door keys.
Progression Blocker Fix for Water Harp lever no longer working
Progression Blocker Fix where Nightweaver Web would consume items you need for quest puzzles. If an item was consumed it should now be back in your inventory.
Added fix for performance hitch leaving menu, and irregular bloom that sometimes happened when you exit menu.
Added fix for starting to link the epic account and aborting causing the link popup to appear each time you launch the game until you link.
Added fix for Ultimate Edition players not receiving Gunslinger Engram in game if they didn't start with Gunslinger.
Added fix for player possibly becoming invisible when using Labyrinth portal.

Added fix to prevent host’s save getting changed if they quit out the game while dead and then joined someone else’s game.

How to change difficulty in Remnant 2

How do you change difficulty in Remnant 2? Just like its notoriously difficult predecessor, Remnant 2 is a challenging game, so it's unlikely you'll be considering a step up in difficulty. If you are just that good though, or are after the more realistic step down, it's not all that straightforward to do, so we've delved into the worlds of Remnant II to find out how it's done.

There are four Remnant 2 difficulty levels, and given the challenging nature of the game series, 'easy mode' is actually recommended for most - that is to say, the lowest difficulty. None are "easy". As such, if you want the best chance of surviving the terrifying Remnant 2 bosses ahead, be it alone or in co-op, you're better off starting low. If it's too late, or you want to take it up a notch and really challenge yourself, here's how to increase or decrease your difficulty level in Remnant 2.
