One week after the exciting announce of Borderlands 4 at Gamescom Opening Night Live, we celebrated all things Gearbox during the Gearbox Main Theater Show at PAX West in Seattle!

Some of the creative leads behind Borderlands 4 sat down to talk about the thinking that goes into making the next highly-anticipated entry in the franchise.You can watch it here.

The panel, hosted by Andrew Reiner (Global Creative Executive Officer), featured Randy Varnell (Chief Creative Officer), Anthony Nicholson (Senior Project Producer), Sam Winkler (Narrative Director), Adam May (Art Director), and Graeme Timmins (Creative Director) discussing how they strike a balance in creating a new entry in this iconic series while staying true to what players have enjoyed for more than a decade.

We also showed off a selection of Borderlands 4 concept art, offering a brief glimpse into what the team’s been up to.

After a pursuit that took the Crimson Raiders across the universe, Lilith finally regained her stolen Siren powers—but Pandora's moon of Elpis was on a catastrophic collision course with the planet. To save all of Pandora, Lilith was determined to "run towards the fire" and launched herself at Elpis, teleporting the entire moon into unknown space and leaving behind the Firehawk emblem. Now we've seen where Elpis ended up—along with the cataclysmic aftermath.
