Game Update 7.8.1 "Master's Enigma" Patch Notes
[h3]Highlights[/h3][p][/p][p]Master’s Enigma Storyline[/p][p]The Empire/Republic leadership makes their way to Odessen to discuss the developments in the Mandalorian conflict, Darth Nul’s holocron, and Malgus’ escape from the fleet. Amidst the chaos, Darth Jadus makes contact with the player and offers guidance in the conflict to come. The player will also discover more about Darth Nul aboard her research vessel, The Enigma.[/p][p]Update on story content[/p][p]English voices for upcoming content are in place, however, at the launch of 7.8.1, players using a French or German client will be able to play Master’s Enigma and the new Date Night missions with English voices and subtitles in their native language. As soon as we have an update on French and German recordings, we'll share when players can expect these to be added![/p][p]Date Night Missions[/p][p]The Torian Cadera and Kira Carsen Date Night Missions will be dropping with 7.8.1! Bounty Hunters can join Torian making a traditional Mandalorian dish, and Jedi Knights can meet Kira on Tython to reconstruct important monuments to the planet’s history. Completing these repeatable missions will reward the player with special decorations that are uniquely tied to the theme of each Date Night.[/p][p]Galactic Season 10 “Secrets of the Syndicate”[/p][p]This year’s seasonal content will bring back fan-favorite rewards including the companions from previous seasons and introduce new rewards! Players will see the return of all rewards from Season 1 and 3, as well as new items on the Galactic Season 10 (GS10) track and vendor.[/p][p]The companions, Altuur zok Adon and PH4-LNX, will be obtainable while GS10 is active and players will be able to earn past and new customizations for them. New companion compatible mounts, titles, and Stronghold labels will also be earnable during this new season. [/p][p]Spring Abundance Festival Returns![/p][p]Dance the day away, bake pies, save and rehabilitate unwell creatures, go on an egg hunt, and more in the spring seasonal event beginning March 10th! A new Mobile Abundance Basket reward has been added to the season vendor.[/p][p]Cartel Market Additions[/p][p]A new Dantooine Invasive Flora Decoration Bundle will be coming to the Cartel Market with 7.8.1. Decorate your Stronghold ceilings, walls, and floors with various vines giving your homestead a natural and organic look.[/p][p][/p][h3]Bug fixes[/h3][p][/p][p]General[/p]

- [p]Fixed an issue that caused the game to remain stuck on the loading screen when a player created their first ever character with a boost.[/p]
- [p]Fixed various environment texture issues present on Odessen.[/p]
- [p]The Loader Droid Polymorph sound effects now play as intended.[/p]
- [p]\[Dantooine] Players now spawn in front of the Maintenance Door when they travel to Ecotone Access 2G.[/p]
- [p]The Crew Skills window now only shows three skills as intended.[/p]
- [p]The ability icon for the Kloo Horn is now visible on the progress bar when the item is being used.[/p]
- [p]The Vectron Tinsel Taxi is now present in Collections.[/p]
- [p]\[French and German clients] The K-NorCo D3M mount now appears with the correct name in Collections.[/p]

- [p]\[Ord Mantell: Good Mantellian] Grapple points now transport the player to the ridge overlooking the settlement as intended.[/p]

- [p]When attempting to enter the Orbital Core phase, players who do not have the required mission will now be placed back at the phase entrance (instead of in the base camp). A new mission terminal has been added near the phase entrance shuttle for convenience.[/p]
- [p]\[MASTER 4 Orbital Core] Players will now only see an interactable door on the final step to flee the Core to help mitigate confusion on mission progress.[/p]
- [p]Fixed various visual assets in the Crash Site area.[/p]
- [p]\[Geothermal Disruption] Graul’s ability “Heavy Swipe” now has its own icon on the cast bar.[/p]
- [p]Doctor Gentra can now also appear as the lost researcher in the biome Crossover Event.[/p]
- [p]\[Wreckage on Dantooine] Fixed an issue that caused an audio line from Doctor Pordav to play before it should have during the mission.[/p]
- [p]Only Story relevant companions can now be summoned during Knights of the Eternal Throne and Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapters content where said companions are required.[/p]
- [p]\[Sith Arithmetic] The shard pieces are now easier to interact with during the “Recover the Shard” mission step.[/p]
- [p]\[Mek’Sha: Hostage Exchange] Updated the mapnotes for the mission steps, so players will have an easier time locating the Exchange Warehouse.[/p]
- [p]\[Hutta] Corrected an issue that caused the mapnote for the Trophy Hunter" mission to appear in the wrong location.[/p]
- [p]Hydraulic Override/Hold the Line now increases speed by 60% down from 75%[/p]
- [p]Trauma Regulators/Trauma Stabilizers[/p]
- [p]While Energy Shield/Reactive Shield is active, players generate a stack of Trauma Stabilizers each time they receive non-periodic damage.[/p]
- [p]Stacks up to 10 times.[/p]
- [p]When Reactive Shield expires, each stack of Trauma Stabilizers instantly heals players for 4% of their maximum health. Changed from direct damage.[/p]
- [p]While Energy Shield/Reactive Shield is active, players generate a stack of Trauma Stabilizers each time they receive non-periodic damage.[/p]
- [p]Hydraulic Override/Hold the Line now increases speed by 60% up from 40%[/p]
- [p]The visual effects for Hold the Line will persist for the entire duration of the effect for Vanguards.[/p]
- [p]New layouts have been added to Medium and Large Ceiling hooks.[/p]
- [p]Various ceiling decorations received updated hook sizes where appropriate.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue that caused decorations to be offset by 1 when using the X and Y axis on an already placed decoration.[/p]
- [p]Updated the Reputation image for the Galactic Sustainability Institute.[/p]
- [p]Launcher now updates to the newest version after a fresh install.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue that caused the game to become stuck on a black screen after booting up.[/p]
