Mark your calendars! Game Update 7.4.1 "Building a Foundation" will be releasing on March 12th!

• Time: 7am CT / 1pm UTC (note that DST is happening on March 10th)
  
• Expected downtime: 4 hours

Alongside Galactic Seasons 6, Date Night Companion Missions, and the opening of Character Transfers to the Shae Vizla server, the following will be coming with 7.4.1:

• Outfits will now be included when characters are transferred between servers.
  
• Ancient Armaments Added To Daily Login Rewards
  
  • Ancient Armaments contain various armor appearances including ones that could not previously be acquired or traded.
    
  • These armor pieces do not contain stats or mod slots and are intended solely for Outfitter.
    
  • These armor pieces do have dye slots and can be traded and bought / sold on the GTN.
    
  • The armor pieces that are available inside of Ancient Armaments will also available as random world drops
    
• Galactic Trade Network (GTN) Droid Legacy Unlock
  
  • A new Character Convenience unlock has been added to Legacy Perks! Once unlocked, players will be able to reach the GTN at any time without needing to travel to the Fleet, their personal ship, various planets or Strongholds!
    
    • Level 1 - Access to droid, 60m cooldown
      
      • Requires Player level of 20
        
      • Costs 3.5M Credits (Req Legacy level of 5) or 400 CCs
        
    • Level 2 - Lowers cooldown to 45m
      
      • Requires Player level of 50
        
      • Costs 7M Credits (Req Legacy Level of 10) or 250 CCs
        
    • Level 3 - Lowers cooldown to 15m
      
      • Requires Player level of 80
        
      • Costs 15M Credits (Req Legacy Level of 20) or 250 CCs
        

Lastly, we did open up a few sections of the forums to players who have Preferred accounts. Going forward, any player who has a Preferred account can now create threads and post replies in the New Player Help, Introductions, and Bug Reports sub-forums.

Rakghoul Resurgence on Corellia

Date: March 5 - March 12 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 25+

The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Corellia. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.

T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!

T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

Relics of the Gree

Date: March 19 - March 26 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 50+

Explore Ilum's contested area in the Western Ice Shelf to uncover the mysterious purpose of the Gray Secant, an enormous ancient Gree starship. Get ready to face a powerful opponent that awaits you at the center of this ancient vessel. Visit the in-game News Terminal located on Carrick Station in the Republic fleet or Vaiken Spacedock in the Imperial fleet to get started on your adventure!

PvP Season 5 “Pirate’s Plunder” is coming February 27th! This season will run for 12 weeks.

Below is all the information about season objectives and new rewards players can earn or purchase from the seasonal vendors, Tullek and Giradda the Hutt.

Season Objectives

F2P and Preferred players will receive 4 Weekly Objectives while Subscribers will receive 6 Weekly Objectives upon the Weekly Reset. All players can complete up to 4 objectives per week to make progress on the reward track.

New Rewards!

More armor sets, decorations, titles, and a new flair will be coming with Season 5! Here’s a breakdown of all the seasonal rewards.

Tullek

Tullek will update his inventory with new rewards when the season starts. Among the new rewards available for purchase, players can choose between the Outlaw Warrior Armor Lockbox, Plunderer’s Greed Armor lockbox, PvP Season 5 blue and red flags, the Cunning Plunderer Armor Display decoration, and the Pirate's Bounty Flair. Similar to previous seasons, these rewards will stay in Tullek’s inventory for the duration of Season 5 and move to Giradda’s inventory at the end of the season.










Giradda the Hutt

Giradda’s inventory will also be updated with rewards from the previous PvP season, “Fortune and Fame.” A collection of previous replicas and trophy decorations will still be available in the inventory rotation.



















Each rotation group (A, B, C, and D) of Giradda’s inventory will be available for 1 week and then cycle out for 3 weeks during the weekly reset (on Tuesdays at 12:00 PM GMT/UTC - 7:00 AM CT).

Galactic Seasons 6 “Building a Foundation” will be taking players back to a place with quite a view! We’re headed back to Copero! Players will be working with Inrokini family bringing them records of galactic events in exchange for the use of Chiss technology. The reward track features a brand new Stronghold based in Copero that players can unlock.




How does the Stronghold work for Galactic Seasons 6? This season will use story unlocks similarly to the way they worked in Galactic Season 5. A story mission will give access to the Stronghold, with 2 more rooms also able to be unlocked through more story missions. Subscribers will gain access to three additional rooms through the Galactic Seasons Subscriber Track. Three additional rooms can be purchased with Cartel Coins.

A Copero themed Utility Bundle will be coming to the Cartel Market!

A new Red/Pink enhanced dye pack is now available and will be on the Cartel Market until February 29th! A special Green/Gold enhanced dye will be made available in March (date TBD). Here's how these dye look on different textures! Pictured is the Noble Attendant and Defiant Maverick armors.

Ashley Ruhl, Narrative Director and Caitlin Sullivan Kelly, Lead Writer, introduce a new narrative feature called Date Night!




Date Night Companion Missions are weekly repeatable, cinematic-only missions designed to give players some personal time with their love interests. Game Update 7.4.1 will feature four companions: Lana Beniko, Arcann, Theron Shan, and Koth Vortena. Our goal is to have 1-2 companion missions released alongside Galactic Seasons.

For the creatives in the community, we are releasing cosplay kits based on the four companions featured in this update's Date Night release. They will be available on swtor.com at Game Update 7.4.1's launch.

Keith Kanneg, Executive Producer, and Eric Musco take the stage and discuss Character Transfers to the Shae Vizla server. Transfers will be opening at 7.4.1's launch! Here are some things you need to know about them:

• There is a 15 million credit limit per character
  
• Minimum level 20 requirement
  
• Players that are active Subscribers and have been a Subscriber since January 2, 2024 will have 16 free transfers to Shae Vizla for 30 days after transfers open
  
• For the first 90 days after transfers open, all Subscribers will receive a 50% discount (500 Cartel Coins off) on transfers to the Shae Vizla server
  
• Paid transfers will become available at 7.4.1 launch and will still cost 1000 Cartel Coins for non-Subscribers. The credit and character level requirements will still apply
  
• Requirements may be adjusted in the future

Keith and Eric tease what's coming in Game Update 7.5. The story update is called "Desperate Defiance" and will be taking place on Hutta. Lane Vizla's research comes to fruition and a new spring event will be launching with 7.5! We will share details on the next livestream!
