Veteran PvP players may notice that Ranked Token grants have drastically increased. Due to the number of replica rewards that we’ve recently added, we felt that increasing the seasonal payout was warranted.

New Rewards

While competing during the Ranked Season, players earned tokens that can be traded for rewards. Tokens are not season specific, so if there’s an expensive reward you really have your eye on, you can save up across multiple seasons.

The new rewards added with this Season fall into two categories: the new Airborne Invasion Armor Set and the final batch of Season Replica items. The new Armor Set from Season 13 will be offered at a discounted price of 50,000 Tokens until the end of the next Ranked Season.

(This is a work-in-progress capture of the Airborne Invasion Armor Set.)

With the end of Season 13, we’re introducing the final batch of replica rewards from past Ranked Seasons. These items look and function the same as the originals, but are branded “Replica” to maintain the prestige of the original Season rewards. Here is a full breakdown of the final batch of Replica rewards:

Furious Combatant/Infiltrator/Battler/Mystic Armor Sets
(100,000 Tokens per Armor Set)

Furious Weapon Set
(50,000 Tokens for the set)

Furious Walker and Flaming Makrin Mounts (Replica Season 3)
(150,000 Tokens per Mount)

Assorted Replica Color Crystals (Replica Seasons 3/4/6/8)
(20,000 Tokens per box)

Be sure to grab all of the Replica rewards you want before it’s too late! There’s still plenty of time, but all Replica rewards will no longer be available for purchase when Ranked PvP Season 15 starts (the season after the next one). Even though this change is well into the future, we want to ensure everyone has ample time to purchase the Replica rewards they want before they go away forever.

Season 14

As a special congratulations to the Squadrons team, alongside their launch we gave everyone who logged into Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ their very own mini-pet inspired by Vanguard Squadron. Well… why stop there? We worked side-by-side with our friends at Motive to do something a little different, like giving players rewards in both games!

But that’s not all - you can also earn Old Republic era inspired rewards in Squadrons! The team over at Motive has made it pretty straight forward for all their pilots. Simply jump into the game and go to your hangar where you’ll be able to find the cosmetics in the Hanging Flair section when customizing your starfighters: one in the New Republic’s hangar and another in the Empire’s hangar. You can use your Glory points to unlock them right away!

Game Update 6.2.1 is now on PTS!

Game update 6.2.1 is now live on the Public Test Server (PTS) for all subscribers. In this new update, we’ve made improvements to Amplifiers and rebalanced all Uprisings. Before this update goes live, any players interested in testing those changes can head over to the Public Test Server!

Here is a breakdown of the changes to Amplifiers and Uprisings that are available for testing:

Amplifiers

The team reorganized the Amplifiers user interface (UI) for a better browsing experience. Previously, Amplifiers were organized in alphabetical order. Now, they are organized with a tree-based view:
  • Players can expand a specific Amplifier type to see all the Amplifiers available in that category or collapse the category to hide them. This change also reduces the default list.

A new tier of Rarity has been added to improve the visibility and readability of Amplifiers. In addition to the existing tiers: the Premium (Green), Prototype (Blue), Artifact (Purple), and Legendary (Gold) tiers, there is now a rarity for the lowest tier: Standard (White). No Amplifier values and no odds to obtain specific Amplifiers have been changed.

We’re also introducing Rarity Locking as a way for players to exchange credits for greater chances at obtaining the Amplifiers they want. This feature is costly due to the improvements it grants, so it has been coupled with the Weekly Cost Reset to allow players to save credits by waiting for more re-rolls.

Every re-roll of an amplifier increases the cost, up to 100 re-rolls. Each Tuesday, re-roll costs will be reset to their starting costs!

Uprisings

All Uprisings are now available at level 75 with a rebalance of the difficulty and time they take to complete. Along with those changes, loot drops have been increased in all Uprisings.
