Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan Date: September 8 – September 15, 2020 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 11:00AM PDT/6:00PM UTC)
Requirement: Levels 25+

The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Alderaan. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.

T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!

T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!

Coming August 28th, 2020, the Star Wars™” The Old Republic™ team is excited to announce two new promotions. Inspired by SWTOR’s Steam launch, the Pipeworks Character Flair is available to all players who login to the game. And the legendary Mandalorian Shae Vizla returns for subscribers. Let’s dive in!



Introducing our newest Flair, the “Character Flair: Pipeworks” will be available to all players that login to The Old Republic anytime between August 28th, 2020 and October 5th, 2020. Simply login to the game and you will see an in-game mail waiting for you with your new Flair! If you haven’t used a Flair before, you can activate it by pressing the “Select Title” option in the top left corner of your Character sheet. This Flair is available to all players, not just those of you launching the game through Steam! So, be sure to login and get your Pipeworks Flair.




Your Own Mandalorian Companion

The legendary Mandalorian warrior Shae Vizla has returned! Simply ensure you are a subscriber at any time between August 28th, 2020 and October 5th, 2020 and Shae Vizla will be granted to all characters on your account. Any subscription from either SWTOR.com, Steam, or gametime card will qualify! This is a limited time offer so subscribe today and head into combat with this legendary warrior at your side. We are excited to announce that Achievements are coming to Steam in early September alongside our Game Update 6.1.3. All of these Achievements mirror their in-game counterparts and will be granted automatically when 6.1.3 releases, regardless of when you originally earned their in-game versions! If you want to see exactly which Achievements are coming to Steam, they are now visible (but not yet earnable!) in your Steam Library.

Check them out here on Steam right now, jump in-game and earn them today, and then when they go live in September you will instantly gain credit on Steam for any and all that you have already completed! We’ll see you in-game in the galaxy far, far away!

Bounty Contract Week Date: August 11 – August 18, 2020 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 11:00AM PDT/6:00PM UTC)

For a limited time, the Bounty Brokers Association has opened its doors to anyone willing to take on their dangerous contracts, offering an opportunity for both seasoned and rookie hunters to prove their skills and bring crime syndicates and violent gangs to justice!

Each day, you can sign up for one standard Henchman contract and one high profile Kingpin Contract, and each may take you to a separate planet. Complete five standard contracts to unlock Kingpin missions with bigger loot! Head to the fleet now, invite your friends and visit representatives of the Association to get started on your contracts!
