Explore Ilum's contested area in the Western Ice Shelf to uncover the mysterious purpose of the Gray Secant, an enormous ancient Gree starship. Get ready to face a powerful opponent that awaits you at the center of this ancient vessel. Visit the in-game News Terminal located on Carrick Station in the Republic fleet or Vaiken Spacedock in the Imperial fleet to get started on your adventure!

Pirate Incursion

Requirement: Level 20+

The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates have staged an all-out attack on the pastoral Republic world. As the Republic scrambles to defend this key territory at the edge of Imperial space, the Empire plans to capitalize on the chaos and deal a major blow to the longtime Republic bastion.

A new Twitch Drop is now active until March 12th! In order to obtain the Ord Mantell Poster Decoration, you must watch 1 hour of live SWTOR content on Twitch. Be sure to connect your Twitch and SWTOR account on the website so you can earn this new deco today!

When 7.6.1 is live (date TBD), players will be able to earn another Twitch Drop reward.

The AC-10 Disruptor mount will be unlocked after 4 hours of watch time and earnable for 28 days following 7.6.1 launch.



Galactic Season 8 “Rising Powers”

Kai Zykken reaches out offering an opportunity to try out Czerka’s new Experimental Combat Enhancers. In order to test the effectiveness of these seasonal items, players will be guided to jump back into Uprisings content.

We will be opening up Uprisings to all players and make them available at level 10.

Upon consuming the Experimental Combat Enhancer, players will receive one of three available buffs that will help them decimate their enemies as they complete Uprisings objectives:

• Destruction Overload Buff - Every 5th enemy that is defeated will explode causing a damaging AOE effect
  
• Czerka Combat Drones Buff - Drones will assist you in taking your enemies down!
  
• Unstable Radiation Field Buff - A devastating point blank AOE
  

A word of caution. The combat enhancers may also give your enemies a buff as well, so stay sharp!

New rewards will be available on the free and Subscriber tracks. Here are some of the rewards that players can earn.

Cartel Market Storefront Updates

We will be retiring older, lower performing items from the Cartel Market beginning February 26th. Items intended to be removed from the Cartel Market will be added to the “Sale” tab and rotated out on a bi-weekly basis by category. The first Category Sale will be weapons. These storefront updates do not impact dyes. Be sure to check in on the Cartel Market often to see what’s on sale!

Master the Fight Bundle: Storm Edition

A new Master the Fight bundle is on the way! Here’s a sneak peek into the Storm I mount that will be included in the bundle.

Despite their reputation as wild rebels whose makeshift courses disregard local districting restrictions, swoop gangs aren’t a serious threat to anyone--something all true swoop fans know! Rakghoul Resurgence on Alderaan

Date: February 18 - February 24 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 25+

The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Alderaan. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.

T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!

T.H.O.R.N. wishes to remind you that plague symptoms can be treated if they are identified in the early stages of infection. Whether or not you have travel plans, please consult your nearest trusted medical supply droid and get vaccinated!
