Schwarzerblitz v.1.4.5 beta (23.05.2021)

This patch applies ONLY to the endless-beta branch of the game. To opt-in, right click on Schwarzerblitz in your Steam library, select Properties, Beta and use the password mysteryjohnson to access it.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed bug that caused the AI to go berserk if the FPS Limiter in Options > Graphics was set to 60fps
  • Removed Kaya's Sukeban Takedown corner infinite (now max 3 repetitions)
  • tweaked the Infinite Prevention System to take care of similar occurrences with other moves
  • Fixed an issue with INDEPENDENT additional objects that made them ignore the Y axis offset (this one might be relevant for modders, as the only character which made use of them was the Haemophage/Noctiphage)

  • In the stage "Afrer Hours", the NPCs Shaz and Mr. Daevka will now disappear if any of them is selected by one of the players as characters
  • the three bonus story scenes (between End of the Beginning and Ride the Lightning) have now clear unlocking conditions stated in the description

[h2]Moveset adjustments[/h2]
  • Shaved 2 frames of recovery from Kaya's 3K 5P, in order to allow for easier natural combo into Sukeban Takedown

  • Players can now set a limit to the rendered FPSs (Off [default], 60fps, 120fps, 144fps). This will help reduce the load on faster/high-end graphic cards that ended up rendering 900fps or so, thus making the fans of high-end rigs fly high in the sky.

  • Fixed a bug that would prevent achievements related to story mode or trials to trigger while browsing the Story Episode Selection or Trial Selection screens
  • Fixed a bug that prevented workshop story episodes to be recognized and added to the selectable episodes

[h2]New feature: FPS Limiter[/h2]
Players can now set a limit to the rendered FPSs (Off [default], 60fps, 120fps, 144fps). This will help reduce the load on faster/high-end graphic cards that ended up rendering 900fps or so, thus making the fans of high-end rigs fly high in the sky.
This feature is still in beta and must be fully tested to see if it introduces any detrimental effects in the gameplay.

  • the full armor on 4T has been reduced to the starting 10 frames instead of the original 23 frames. This makes it fairer and not anymore a "universal response" to any offensive pressure, while still retaining most of its utility
  • 4T cannot be canceled anymore into 1T
  • new move: (while running) T Shield Dash (armored against projectiles)
  • 4T 8 Kingbone Slicer doesn't cross-up anymore when blocked standing


[h3]Kaya[/h3]
  • The input for sword throw/grab has been moved to 8T

[BUG FIX] Workshop support has been restored to the endless-beta branch

The bug has been fixed. Please, contact me if the problem still appears.
The main branch of the game was ever affected by this issue.
