Patch for the 1.26 version of Way of the Hunter is now live, bringing a number of tweaks to the Northern Lynx, as well as to the ballistic model of buckshot and slugs, plus a handful of fixes and improvements.

• Visual improvements to Northern Lynx
  
• Improved internal ballistics and pellet spread for buckshots to make them more effective against big game animals
  
• Improved internal ballistics of slugs to increase their cavity damage
  
• Adjusted the damage threshold for heart and lungs in small game animals to make buckshot more effective against them
  
• (PC, Lintukoto Reserve) Improved framerate on High and Ultra visual settings
  

Fixed:

• (Lintukoto Reserve) 5* Reindeer trophies clipping through ceiling on some mounts
  
• (Lintukoto Reserve) Overlapping trees near Janika’s cabin
  
• Player character’s arm animation misbehaving when entering photo mode while using a bow
  
• Eurasian wolverine’s ragdoll having deformed back legs
  
• Remington 700 CDL having the magazine capacity of 3 instead of 4
  
• (PC) Wind not affecting external ballistics
  
• Incorrect shop information for the .30-30 and .223 ammo

Last Friday, August 2nd, HandyGames announced that Way of the Hunter will be coming to mobile during the first-ever AI-powered HandyGames Showcase 2024, held as the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2024 pre-show. Unlike the PC and console versions developed by Nine Rocks Games, Way of the Hunter Mobile is being created and fully developed by HandyGames.
