As a newly graduated Wildlife Trooper, your mission is to preserve the region's natural resources. As a trooper, it's up to you to manage the delicate ecosystem by controlling the population of certain species for the benefit of others. Discover the diverse beauty and open-world habitats of Aurora Shores, from verdant grasslands to soaring mountaintops and lush rainforests. Despite the harsh Alaskan winter, the region boasts breathtaking landscapes year-round. Explore the Nianuk Rise peaks and the sprawling Aivuk Rainforest, and be captivated by the idyllic charm of this unique wilderness.

With the Aurora Shores DLC comes a free content patch for the Way of the Hunter base game,
which introduces a new weapon class: Crossbows! These are the perfect weapons to hunt silently without disturbing other animals in the vicinity. 2 new crossbows and equipment will be available with the update.

Claim the free DLC in the in-game shop or via Steam Store.

Enjoy dynamic rides throughout the vast environments when you saddle the UTV without additional gameplay requirements. You can reach places behind the wheel; otherwise hard to access with a jeep. You can quickly get to hunting stands on time to watch or hunt your desired animal. You can enjoy beautiful vistas on top of the mountain and still get back to the lodge in a timely manner.

Riding UTV in the Way of the Hunter is fun and useful at the same time. This new vehicle can change how you plan your hunting adventures or explore the environment.

Update 1.21 is now live for all players, bringing rare fur variations, vehicle radio, new tasks, improvements and fixes, and more to Way of the Hunter.
