"Marianne’s Theme"
Marianne is the game’s main protagonist and the titular medium. Her gift, our curse that shaped her whole life, is that she can see the spirit world - a dark mirror reflection of our reality where our unspoken emotions, urges, and secrets can manifest itself and take on a form. “Marianne’s Theme” is a track composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski, a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee who worked on such acclaimed horror games as Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and Observer.

The day when you will finally uncover a grim and unsettling reality, a different world that reflects ours like a dark mirror. As Marianne, you will encounter a mystery that only a medium can solve.

Watch a brand new video that gives you a closer look at the dual-reality world, showcasing the game's dark art style inspired by Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński, and his dystopian surrealist work. Bloober Team’s artists have closely studied Beksiński’s paintings to bring the visually distinct and nightmarish atmosphere to life, pairing it with an evocative score from Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka to create a truly eerie experience.

Bloober Team Reunites Top Talent Featuring Troy Baker, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, and Akira Yamaoka for Collaboration on The Medium



Troy Baker will voice The Maw, the main spirit world entity and antagonist in The Medium. Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, having worked together with legendary game composer Akira Yamaoka on the Silent Hill series, will be providing her vocals for the original soundtrack.

The three will be bringing their unique talent and passion from their previous work together to our largest and most ambitious project to date.
