Sid Meier's Civilization VII News

Civilization 7 drops below 5,000 players, as serious Steam struggles continue

This Week in Civ: Update 1.2.0 is live and more!

Hey, Civ fans! In case you missed it, here’s another roundup of Civilization VII news from the past week:
Update 1.2.0 is Live!
This update brings several highly-requested improvements, balance changes, and new features – many of which were shaped directly by your feedback. In this update, we’ve added One More Turn, Multiplayer Teams, updates to Resources, and plenty more!

We’ve also changed our food & growth curve, so you'll feel the power of playing tall with civs and leaders that build vast empires. Those empires will also feel safer, as we’ve reduced the natural disaster frequency in Light and Moderate settings, but kept the settings unchanged on Catastrophic. Outside of major systems, this update includes several addressed issues such as, AI improvements, UI polish, and some highly requested QOL features that will save you from bulk-clicking and give you more info on your empire.
