This Week in Civ: Update Check-in

Hey, Civ fans! In case you missed it, here’s another roundup of Civilization VII news from the past week:

We’ve been hard at work on Update 1.2.0, which is currently slated for April 22 (date subject to change). Check out the full details here, or read on for some of the major highlights of what you can expect:

It's only been two months, but a new version of Civilization 7 just dropped

If you've ever wanted to feel like a true, godly overseer during your Civilization 7 matches, or you want to up the challenge even more by trying to fend off motion sickness while trying to conquer its three ages, then boy do I have good news for you. Despite being in its infancy, a new version of Civ 7 has just launched, but it's a bit of a niche one. You guessed it - you can now play Civilization 7 in VR.

New Civilization 7 update adds a vital feature and revives Teams Multiplayer

Firaxis has just revealed what's on the way in the next Civilization 7 update, and it'll likely go down as the strategy game's best patch yet. Directly tackling some of players' biggest frustrations, it'll give you the option to keep playing beyond the end of the Modern Age and introduces the Team Multiplayer mode from previous Civ games.

It's another week, and with that comes word of the next Civilization 7 update. The patch isn't ready quite yet, but in a new update check-in post, Firaxis shared that the game's next update is coming April 22nd, just a couple of weeks away. There's a few big changes coming too, so how about we just jump right in. First up is a change to resources. There'll be ten new resources coming to the game, all of which will get their own new narrative events for starters.
