The label behind XCOM and Midnight Suns definitely has a lot more work to do. Nevertheless, the new Civilization 7 update feels like a significant milestone, implementing some crucial fixes and some must-need features that were absent on launch.

This seems to be the case with Civilization 7, which only came out a month ago but had fewer players on Steam than 2010's Civilization 5 earlier today, as Firaxis continues to struggle to improve its latest outing with regular updates.
