[p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]This update introduces a bonus excavation job which may or may not be a limited time one. Excavate mysterious crystals with an unknown origin, and reap rewards! The rewards and chances of each reward is unknown, but I will tell you here that while the chances are extremely low, the rewards are extremely high and you'll find them very beneficial. Note that this does not contribute to the quest line. I have also added a basic notification system that will pop up in the bottom right of your game whenever you receive a reward. This will tell you what type of reward and how many levels / how much cash you found! [/p][p][/p][h2]Patch Notes[/h2]

[p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]This is just a minor update prioritising refining Excavation. This update adds a Low Resolution Mode which can be enabled in the bottom left of the mode. This will reduce the resolution to 800x600 30fps and put the game in windowed mode, with the pure intention of being made to be left in the background while you multitask. Right now, this mode does the bare minimum of reducing GPU usage very slightly. For my laptop, GPU usage went from 2.9% to 0.9% with this setting on. In the future, I will find more compromises to this like potentially removing the asteroid icons or lowering texture resolution.[/p][p][/p][h3]Excavation Quest Line: Part 2 is now released! [p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]In preparation of the final major content update for Rocky Mayhem, I'm releasing Patch 19.5. This update introduces the Advanced Asteroid to excavation. The twist with this one is that there's a 1 in 200 chance of getting a random level. Test your luck and see if you can get an entire prestige, or become unlucky and only receive a single level. Patch 20 will introduce some more refining details like enabling background music, as well as adding the \[REDACTED] Asteroid, for you to gain riches from like never before. [/p][p][/p][p]Patch 20 will not be scheduled for a while now, as I take a break from adding new things and work on the current content I've implemented, as well as expanding the quest line further. [p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]Final update of today is part 2 of the excavation update! Extract rich materials from the new Frozen Asteroid, tough to drill into but reaps a high chance of a high reward. Also experience part 1 of the Excavation Quest Line, where you can earn levels and in-game money. As well as this, you can now earn levels from the basic and volcanic asteroid. The 4th upcoming asteroid will feature a level-only loot pool, with an extremely low chance of gaining 2 prestiges! More coming in part 3. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
