We are living, we are constantly told, through unprecedented times. Years like 2020 are the kind of years that make me think things like “woah, we are living through history, like, all the time“, like a stoned 20-year-old gap year dude coming to self awareness for the first time in his life.

In Mesmer you get to be the history maker, in an old-world, European-esque city that is ruled over by a corrupt monarchy. Leading a revolution and storming the castle is, as it turns out, quite difficult, and requires a complex balancing act.

Mesmer is finally here. After 3 years of work we're excited to finally bring the game to you.

Mesmer Dev Stream

Peter (Rain Games CEO) and Aslak (Rain Games Animator and Artist) will be streaming Mesmer today at 7:30PM CEST. They'll be answering questions while dishing out all the details on the game's development and what you can expect from the game.

What's is Mesmer?

In Mesmer you take the role of a revolutionary leader, winning the people to your side through any method of your choosing! From kind tasks and charming persuasion to blackmail and bribery, the choice is completely up to you!

However, every action moves the clock forward, and if you get to the end of the day without enough influence, you're doomed! This means every choice matters, so choose wisely!

Oh! And If you need some extra dirt, you can always sneak into people's home at night while breaking the cities curfew, but you'll have to be stealthy as the night watch is about!
