Early Access Patch #17 is here and it brings The Compendium letting you see all of your triumphs, unlocks and the secrets of Riff City and its denizens. Along with this addition is another set of balance updates and bug fixes as we prepare for Riff City's spooky Halloween event starting October 24th.

[h3]Balance Changes and Fixes:[/h3]
General:

• Card Removal in Royale now costs $25 more per use instead of $15.
  
• Hype Goal of Round 5 increased by 25 to 225.
  
• Hype Goal of Finale increased by 50 to 350.
  
• "All Seeing Eyeballs" Gear added in a few Royale and Tour vendors.
  
• Misspelling of Sauce in outro to "Freetos Four Piece" fixed.
  
• "Yapper" mask thumbnail fixed.
  
• "Fiery Solarpunk Wheels" van skin cleaned up.
  
• Problem where Card Details Screen would become disabled in between some Royale matches has been fixed.
  

Bot Changes:

• Finale Royale Bots have fewer weak cards and more upgrades.
  
• "Freetos Four Piece" Tour level 3 -1 Energy, Tour level 4 -1 Energy, Tour level 6 -1 Energy.
  
• "Coin Ops" Tour Level 3 -1 Energy.
  
• "Scrap Titan" Tour Level 5 -1 Energy, -1 Max Hand Size.
  
• "Sirens Call" Tour Level 6 -1 Energy, -1 card draw.
  
• "Skidmarks" Tour Level 6 -1 Energy.
  

Card Changes:

• "Matching Beat" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Jacked Up" "Ruthless" added.
  
• "Soft Noodlin" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Burning"
  
• "Fun Hook" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Defensive" "Fierce" added.
  
• "Joke With Buddies" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Safe" "Hard" added.
  
• "Inside Joke" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Burning" "Incredible" added. Bot Weights updated.
  
• "Relaxing Bridge" upgrade "Speedy" replaced with "Burning" "Informative" added.

• "Dramatic Keys" -1 Max Energy on play only lasts 2 turns.
  
• "Awe Inspiring Refrain" -2 Max energy for self on play now lasts only 3 turns.
  
• "Loud Riff" added "Super" upgrade.
  
• "Loud Lick" added "Reminder" upgrade.
  
• "Loud Keys" added "Safe" upgrade.
  
• "Heavy" Upgrade gives 1 more hype.
  
• "Defensive" Upgrade bot weights updated to reflected added value.
  
• "Selectively" Upgrade now discards a card from your hand on play, draws on sweep.

Battle Bands Halloween is here and Riff City is celebrating!! Get Bonus Season XP and hunt for masks while experiencing all the festive costumes and decorations. Perhaps take a run at the newest Tour Mode Challenger: Them Aching Bones!

The often reluctant Mortis has come out of retirement with his keyboard and magic to celebrate his favorite holiday and gain the power of music! Make sure to keep a close eye on all of those suspicious bones when facing off against this all new Tour Mode boss.

Collect 24 unique Halloween masks by defeating Royale bots and Tour Mode bosses. Celebrate as you see how everyone has dressed up for Riff City's favorite Holiday!



[h2]Spooky Arenas[/h2]
Every Arena has been decorated by the magic of Halloween. Come see how Riff City transforms as the night of the dead is upon us!



[h2]Costumes Galore[/h2]
The Bands of Riff City have embraced this holiday with full force and have all changed their looks to whatever spooky and fun things bring them joy. As you hunt for the masks adorning some of them you will see how all the bands dress up!



[h2]New Van[/h2]
To get in the Halloween spirit, everyone who plays during the event will get a new Jack-O-Vantern to drive around Riff City and show off to opponents!



[h2]Bonus Season XP[/h2]
Throughout the event, Season experience will be doubled to encourage and reward more Halloween celebrations!



The screams of surprise and excitement will echo through Riff City in Battle Bands from October 24th to November 15th!

After running into Mortis selling some interesting books for some time in Riff City, the community has convinced Mortis to try out Royale! Go head-to-head and defeat him there to earn a new cosmetic!
