[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

After a year of navigating through significant challenges and intensive behind-the-scenes efforts, Wild Planet Team is thrilled to announce the early access release of their game on October 23, 2024. This announcement comes after a period marked by reorganization, changes in game design, and shifting release goals.
The past year has been anything but smooth for the Wild Planet Team. The journey began with a substantial investment by publishers, but it soon faced a setback when disagreements led to the loss of those publishers & investment. Despite this, the team was able to secure a small support through state funding and grants, ensuring the continuation of their project.
Adapting to New Circumstances
Given the reduced financing and a downsized team, now consisting of just three dedicated developers , the decision was made to opt for an early access release. This approach allows the team to continue refining and expanding the game with the community's support while securing the necessary resources to move forward.
What to Expect in Early Access
The early access version of the game will feature a vibrant and immersive open world. Players can explore six distinct biomes, covering a large map, filled with multiple dungeons, caves, and dynamic events. The next five months are crucial for further development and polishing, and the team is committed to delivering regular updates and enhancements.
Community Engagement and Future Plans
To maintain transparency and engage with the community, Wild Planet Team will be providing a detailed roadmap and regular development blogs in the coming months. These updates will offer insights into the development process, upcoming features, and improvements.
Join the Adventure
In anticipation of the early access release, a new teaser trailer is now available on the game's Steam page and YouTube channel. Additionally, the team will participate in the Steam Survival Game Festival starting next week.
A Heartfelt Thanks
The Wild Planet Team extends their deepest gratitude to their supporters and followers. The journey has been challenging, but the unwavering support from the community has been a beacon of hope and motivation. The team is excited to share this milestone and looks forward to the continued journey together.
