News from Taxation!

Howdy Partner!

We would like to take a moment to reflect on what has happened in the last few updates. Hopefully, some developments around Taxation have not gone entirely unnoticed. Not only are the settlements being built and worked on regularly, but so is the game.

In the past few weeks, a series of fixes and improvements have been made and balance has also been tackled. We want to keep it that way in the future, because we want to carry on providing you with new updates from the stagecoach.

More recipes and ingredients have been added to the field kitchen, because canned beans are so 1813. Additional settlers who are now in the game can help with transport. They also supply animals with fodder.

As you can see, no one has been idle out on the wide-open prairie. Until the next update, we invite you to visit our campfires on Discord, Steam, or our social media channels and chat with like-minded people!

So long!

Help is arriving

Hello settlers and adventurers,

not only is the development team hard at work, bugfixing, improving and adding features to Wild West Dynasty.

With so many changes included in version 1.0 and the following patches and hotfixes, the guides also needed a huge update.

We are very happy to announce that our partners at Bildner Verlag went above and beyond to bring you the latest version of the guides, bringing the content also to 1.0, so to say.

So if you need help, advice, useful tips or even recipes, check out the "Settlers Guide To The West" with the Compendium, the Cookbook and the Architect.

In the meantime, we cook up some more hotfixes and updates for you to be released over the coming days and weeks.

Hotfix to 1.0.9094

Howdy Partner!

Again a small hotfix bringing a few fixes.

We are working on further updates! Thank you for your active support!

  • NPCs will not kill young animals in cages (less than 10 years).
  • NPCs will transfer a maximum of two food items into the cage from storage in one cycle.
  • The food and water consumption of caged animals is significantly reduced.
  • NPCs assigned to cages housing animals should no longer trigger a crouch-stand-crouch action when managing the cage.
  • NPCs assigned to animal cages will now transfer water/food for animals. Condition: the cage does not contain 25 water units or 99 food units. (Dev note: We do want to give you a better option to manage animal cages. We are working on solutions. You will be able to control how many items the NPCs shall add to the cage's storage, to keep the economy and cycle balanced in your city.)
  • The water consumption for animals in barns is significantly reduced.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could plant seeds with insufficient amounts in the inventory (Note: this could have caused the -x value).
  • The Workshop craft hierarchy now reflects the technology tree.
  • The weight of Henrietta and Ada's letter are reduced to zero (0).
  • Fixed an issue where assigning NPCs to the Barn/Sawmill in Ghost Town could corrupt saving those buildings.
  • Fixed an issue where a transport route could break the saving process
  • Fixed an issue where having a windmill, farm plots and/or barn and having NPC assigned to the barn, could cause save issues. (Note: We are still investigating issues when sometimes buildings are not saved.)
  • Fixed an issue where a canteen was not providing water for NPCs in the city.
  • Fixed an issue where outpost buildings could not be destroyed.
  • NPCs working on a farm will take only as much seeds as required, depending on farm size.
  • Changed the cost of crafting a colt bullet from 10 shells and 10 gun powder, to 1 respectively.
  • Fixed an endless loop Mercedes – Confront the Sheriff.
  • Increased the health of houses.
  • Settlers are no longer eating up buckets. Empty buckets will be automatically returned to the warehouse storage. The support for animals is work in progress.
