Hotfix to 1.0.9073

Howdy Partner!

We have prepared another hotfix for you, which brings these fixes and optimisations!

We are working on more fixes! Thank you for your ongoing support!

  • The kid: Added a lantern.
  • Ghost town ghosts: Fixed the waypoints.
  • The convoy should now trigger properly even in different order.
  • The convoy should work for people who saved it in a broken state.
  • Adventure mode added.
  • All rivers and wells can be interacted with, and drinking affects overheating.
  • Tent - should not be pickable.
  • John (trader in taxation) – The shop is available even without completing Aid for Taxation.
  • Workbenches are no longer pickable.
  • Seamstress table should be able to interact with.
  • Workbenches got a destroy option added (to destroy from house if the player placed it by mistake).
  • Fixed a problem where changing the language in-game could cause a problem with placing furniture.
  • Disabled higher food consumption during the winter (survival mode only).
  • Disabled higher water consumption during the summer (survival mode only).
  • Some map improvements.
  • Subtitles added to intro.
  • Kid cave: Fixed a problem where fast discovered clues could lock the progress (old saves should work now).
  • Kid cave: Fixed a problem where clues could be investigated too fast.
  • Grandma Lucy house: Fixed a problem where a player could not place furniture in her house.
  • Vendors in Hope should now sell proper goods.
  • Each Vendor in Hope now offers a cloth set with different stats.
  • Disappearing workbench from Owl`s house fixed (save/load).

Hotfix to 1.0.9069

Howdy partner!

We're working on balancing heat generation. Thus, we bring you some fixes for the thermic system, and more.
  • Drinking water from a canteen will decrease the overheat bar now.
  • Added a new item - Bottle of water - after drinking it, it will decrease the overheat value (availability will be invreased soon).
  • Drinking from a river will restore the overheat value to zero (some rivers, more to come).
  • Fixed a problem with saving the technology progress.
  • Fixed a problem where placing furniture used a glyph icon instead of key code
  • Fixed the dialogue in Martha’s quest.
  • Stone Axe – durability and damage increased.
  • Iron Axe - durability increased.
  • Woodman Axe - durability increased.
  • Fixed the bow and arrows issue after they were purchased from the trader in Taxation.
  • Fixed the interaction with the 4x4 farm.
  • Added experience as rewards for several quests.
  • Overheat and freezing bar value will reset to zero after respawning.
  • Various fixes on the map.
  • The overheat bar rises much slower now.
  • The health bar decreases much slower now.
  • The freezing bar rises much slower
  • Hand craft icon replaced.
  • The maximum temperature is reversed back to 41 degrees Celsius.

We hear you! Your concerns and observations have not eluded us. We follow everything closely on the forums and are working hard to resolve any problems that arise. That's why we continue to ask you to share your experiences or bug reports with us. All feedback is invaluable to us as it helps us to improve Wild West Dynasty.

We would also like to sincerely thank you for your continued support and patience. We appreciate it all the more at a time when this is not a given. It is very important to us!

Hotfix to 1.0.9068

  • The maximum summer temperature is lowered to 35 degrees instead of 42 degrees Celsius.
  • Fixed a small tree name.
  • The name for "Shed" got changed to "Workshop I".
  • Houses now have a better insulation.
  • Farm is fixed after NPC harvest.
  • The transport cost for animals now has a fixed value of 30$.
  • Disabled the Wanted trigger from the sheriff’s office.
  • Aaron Reave got his proper name.
  • Ukrainian dialogue localization imported.
  • Added missing localization in Polish for one quest entry.
  • Fixed Ada's letter translation (Polish).
  • Fixed Felipe`s appearance.
  • Added cold-resistant pants to the chest in Owl's house.
  • Fixed the collider for the Coal deposit in Serenity Stand.
  • Various Chapter III translations fixes.

Hello Cowgirls and Cowboys,

the time has come.

Wild West Dynasty is shedding its Early Access skin.
We are very excited to share with all of you what we have been working on over the last weeks and months.

And this not only includes loads of major as well as some minor changes to visuals, game mechanics and content based on your feedback that we collected.

We left no stone unturned, starting with a new story over completely fresh gameplay elements and radical changes to almost everything that you know from various Early Access updates.

In short: We believe this is basically a new game, deserving of the label ‚1.0‘. True to the Dynasty DNA, but still trying to walk its own path.

We'd like to thank all of you for your invaluable support, the constructive criticism and the ideas that helped us tremendously to make Wild West Dynasty what it is today!

But we are not done yet.
Because no matter how hard you try, no matter how meticulously you plan: There is never enough time.

You can rest assured: We are not stopping. And we hope that you come on this exciting journey together with us.
While we tried to make sure to eradicate all bugs, as you know, there is no 100% guarantee that we smashed them all to smithereens.

Depending on different playstyles and some improbabilities we are not able to foresee, within the sandbox play there might be a hiccup – or two. And sometimes it still feels a little rough around the edges. Most of the times that is intentional.
Occasionally it is not. We will adress that and take care of it.
Because over the next few days and weeks we are not only working on further content and enhancements for Wild West Dynasty.

We will keep an especially keen eye on your feedback.
Because just like in the last few weeks leading up to the playtest and beyond, this game is not ours alone anymore. It is a co-operative effort between you and us.

So just like we did before, we are eager to listen to your feedback.
If you encounter bugs: Talk to us and we will do everything in our power to fix it.
Some of them might even be known already and adressed with the updates or hotfixes that will be coming tomorrow and the following days.
If you are stuck somewhere: Talk to us and/or the community on Discord and we might be able to point you in the right direction.

Tell us what you like.
And of course, tell us, what you don’t like. We cannot promise that we can change that immediately. But we will listen and evaluate, if we can accomodate your wishes.

Hello fans of Wild West Dynasty,

you might be waiting for some important new announcements from gamescom.

But this might be equally important. ;)

While our colleagues from other game studios prepared their games to be shown at gamescom we continued to work on the most important milestone we had to reach yet with our game.
In less than 24 hours Wild West Dynasty will shed its Early Access skin and with the biggest update yet will emerge as version 1.0.

We want to take the opportunity to thank you, the community, once again for all your support and the feedback, which helped to shape the game into what it is, when it launches tomorrow.
We couldn't have done it without you.

And we hope that you'll enjoy the all-new Wild West Dynasty, when you step into this open world and start building your settlements.
