Seems like a good time for a really quick patch!

If you haven't guessed it - this patch fixes this clock/time issue. Apparently, the game didn't like if you try to have programmers working in a Law Firm, or Graphic Designers in a Web Dev, so it started making up new time! We have fixed this and your clock should return to normal if you had this issue!

Whether you're just starting to take over New York City or have been with us for a while, we're glad you're here!

EA 0.5 is looking really good so far, but first, here are a few bug fixes to tide you over until then!

[h2]Bug Fixes:[/h2]

• Fixed game-breaking issue caused by Electronics Stores in C2 buildings
  
• Fixed customers getting stuck in a "full queue" that didn't exist
  
• Fixed customers per hour randomly dropping to 0 at 01:00
  
• Fixed customers not counting for the correct hour
  
• Fixed a few issues that were causing warehouse and headquarters to become corrupted
  
• Fixed furniture deliveries being duplicated
  
• Fixed "out of stock" items impacting pricing
  
• Fixed playing on laptop gives "Magic" happiness
  
• Fixed warehouse camera shakes and doesn't lock to car
  
• Fixed blueprints loading forever due to a Steam delay when a blueprint is deleted
  
• Fixed can open Interior Designer while driving indoors
  
• Fixed can fall through dock on an Electric Scooter
  
• Fixed female characters getting surnames as first names
  
• Fixed can't click Stage Lights at AJ Pederson
  

[h2]Headquarters is temporarily closed[/h2]
We fixed a few more cases where your headquarters could be listed as temporarily closed.

If you currently have this issue - switch the headquarters to a different type of office (law, web, graphic designer), and turn off "temporarily closed". Then switch it back to a headquarters and it should be good!

[h2]Stuck in placement mode[/h2]
We were also getting a really weird bug where some players were getting stuck in "placement mode" when trying to move certain furniture items. This should be fixed now! However, it's a very inconsistent bug, so if you see it again, please submit a bug report! Then save and reload the game and it should work again!

Happy Holidays! It's time for one more patch in 2023!

[h2]Fixes[/h2]

• Fixed buying a business when it's closed results in no opening hours or invisible workstations
  
• Fixed sometimes after cleaning one spot, your character would run back to the cleaning station
  
• Fixed issue causing corrupted saves
  
• Fixed Fruit and Vegetable stores not functioning
  
• Fixed pricing satisfaction going down lower than it should in some districts
  
• Fixed the amount of dirt in coffee/fast food was accumulating too quickly
  
• Fixed joining a long customer queue can put you outside
  
• Fixed scooter is slow to initially accelerate
  
• Fixed issue where you'd still get maximum customers even with empty employee stations
  
• Fixed issue that was causing deliveries to be duplicated
  
• Fixed Ika Bohag was missing large clocks during the Christmas layout
  
• Fixed Lux Concept couldn't purchase a few items
  
• Fixed the toggle "Hide Cleaners" wouldn't reset properly when switching between businesses
  
• Fixed glitch that would sometimes allow infinite happiness in your own nightclub.
  
• Fixed can't buy items from gas station
  
• Fixed autopark could escape the map on one street
  
• Fixed unassigned buildings were not appearing in BizMan
  
• Fixed bank Investment Risk text that was appearing incorrectly

[h3]"I already bought a business and cannot create a schedule"[/h3]
This should be fixed now, but if you already previously purchased a business on its day off and cannot create the schedule properly, here's how you can fix it:

• Open the BizMan for that business
  
• Go to Settings
  
• Click "Shut Down Business" (but do not terminate the contract)
  
• Restart the business
  

You'll have to reassign and reschedule employees, but all your furniture should still be in place!

[h3]Duplicated Deliveries:[/h3]
The duplicating deliveries was a weird bug - it should be fixed, but please let us know if you see it again.

[h3]Corrupted Saved Game[/h3]
Corrupted saved games and loss of data is the worst! Fortunately, we fixed an issue that now prevents saved games from being corrupted due to changes in data that happen while saving.

[h3]Christmas Tree:[/h3]
Don't forget to put a Christmas tree in your apartment or store by Christmas! Uncle Fred said he might swing by with a little present for you!

Oh, hi there - here's one more quick patch to get you ready for the weekend!

Notes:

• Fixed Uncle Fred Warehouse Pallet quest wasn't completing
  
• Fixed player gets kicked off register at midnight
  
• Fixed clicking the cleaning station while holding a hand truck could soft-lock you
  
• Fixed rugs, carpets and dance floors could be attached to some building doors
  
• Fixed exiting a warehouse or parking lot so you don't crash into traffic
  
• Fixed can't grab any dance floor from AJ Pederson and Son
  
• Fixed money was being displayed as a signed int rather than a float, so if you got too much money, it would appear to be negative.
  
• Fixed could get stuck in the "void" after previewing a building and pressing a certain key combination
  
• Fixed couldn't color door in D2 building
  
• Fixed the gym's computer was backward
  
• Fixed customer queue gets stuck in AJ Pederson and Son

We launched EA 0.4, and then warehouses tried to stop working! But, of course, we won't let them do that, so here's a quick patch:

• Fixed Uncle Fred objective wouldn't complete when renting a warehouse
  
• Fixed Uncle Fred importing objective wouldn't complete when receiving first warehouse order
  
• Fixed Logistics Managers stopped being able to do warehouse-to-warehouse deliveries
