Xbox users can now play Stray, one of PlayStation's best games of 2022

Xbox users rejoice! Stray is now available for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Announced for Xbox back in June and released yesterday, the game is definitely one you will want to play, in VG247's humble opinion, and don't just take our word for it: many players out there enjoyed it as well.

While not available through Game Pass, it may be added in the future, considering the game's publisher, Annapurna Interactive, has other titles available through the subscription service.

Stray Patch 4

Hello Cats and friends of Cats!

The long awaited Patch 4 has arrived! Thank you all for your patience as we've been working hard with our small team to prepare this patch as well as prepare additional platforms. We continue to appreciate seeing all of the notes and details from the community here and it helps us immensely!

Some Pawtch notes below!

Fixed localization issues across multiple languages
Added accessibility options for players who have difficulty with rapid tapping
* Toggle run
* Toggle defluxor
* Toggle to shake Zurks
Added an option to hide cat death (it is too sad)
A large number of crash fixes across many situations (too many to list and some quite nasty)
Fixes for audio decompression errors and stuttering on certain configurations
Collision and navmesh fixes throughout the game (Cats are liquid so it's difficult!)

Stray pounces onto Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in August

We knew Stray was coming to Xbox, thanks to an ESRB rating, but now we know exactly when we can play as the sweet ginger tabby on Microsoft's system - August 10.

It's definitely a game you will want to play, in VG247's humble opinion, and don't just take our word for it: many players out there enjoyed playing the game.

Highly anticipated following its announcement, the game topped Steam's wishlist charts before release and broke its publisher's record for concurrent Steam players upon release, with over 62,000 players. It also became the highest user-rated game of the year on the platform.

It’s your last chance to play Bioshock, Borderlands, and Stray via PlayStation Plus

While we already know that the likes of Far Cry 6, Inscription, and more will be arriving on PlayStation Plus in due course, PS Plus subscribers will be bidding farewell to some stellar games during July. Meaning that unless you cough up some cash or find a different service to play them via, now is your last chance to give these games a go.

The games leaving PS Plus can be found under the ‘Last chance to play’ collection on the PlayStation Store, and if they leave as the new batch of games arrives, they’ll likely be going on July 18. The games to be removed from PS Plus are as follows:
