It's been a minute since I've been active here, but we've been super busy behind the scenes working on the new prologue for World's Worst Handyman. I'm excited to report that the prologue page is now live on Steam! 🛠️🎮

What’s this prologue all about?
The prologue is a major expansion to the demo that brings so much more to explore and enjoy. If you've had fun with the demo, the prologue will definitely be a treat. If you have never played the demo, you are in for a treat!

What's new in the prologue?
-Explore More of the Spooky Farm. Scarecrow chases now included 👻
-New Mini-Game To Play At The Spooky Farm
-Hidden Collectibles
-Use the collectibles at the animal shelter to unlock secrets.
-Keyboard Rebinding
-AI improvements and new reactions
-Mystery Box Special Items: Unlock and experiment with new items at the animal shelter—watch the animals react to them in surprising ways!
-Community Pet Board: Yes, your submitted pet pictures over on ⁠on the official Discord are now part of the game! They rotate every time you visit the shelter, so keep an eye out for your furry friend.

How can I get my pet featured in game?

1. Join the official discord: https://discord.gg/bWTemY6kEC
   
2. Submit a photo of your pet with your pet's name over in the #pet-pictures channel.
   
3. When submitting the photo and name, include the following phrase: "I agree to allow my pet's picture to be included in World's Worst Handyman."

Should I wishlist the prologue if I already wishlisted the main game?

We are super excited to announce that the World's Worst Handyman Demo is NOW LIVE on Steam!



For those of you just tuning in, World's Worst Handyman is a stealth comedy game where you play as Doug, a newbie handyman with a heart of gold and, well, not-so-golden skills. Help him save a local animal shelter from bankruptcy by tackling a series of hilarious odd jobs. Be prepared for a world of quirky characters, thrilling chases, and so many unexpected surprises! 🐾🔧

What's in store for you in the demo, you ask? Here’s the hot list:

• Doug's got a fresh new look! Who knew a handyman could clean up so well? 😎
  
• Meet Ashley, our delightful new NPC holding the fort at the animal shelter! 🐶

The time has finally come! Our Closed Beta is now in full swing and will run until January 15 on Discord. We need your help with tracking down bugs, uncovering any hidden balancing issues, and generally putting the game through its paces to help us make World's Worst Handyman the best it can be.
