As the vibrant Year of the Tiger ๐Ÿฏ gracefully bows out, we stand on the threshold of the majestic Year of the Dragon ๐Ÿ‰. It's a time of immense energy, unwavering courage, and boundless possibilities. In this spirit I invite you to deepen your practice, embrace fitness, and cultivate health like never before. ๐Ÿ™

In celebration of the new year, I am honored to introduce a symbol of protection and strength: the Guardian mask. This free cosmetic piece is not just an adornment but a testament to your dedication and progress. Wear it with pride as you navigate through challenges, embodying the guardian spirit that watches over you and your path to mastery.



Complementing the Guardian, the Crimson Bracers emerge as a beacon of passion and power. Crafted from the heart of the dragon's flame, these bracers are designed to inspire and propel you forward, adding a touch of elegance and fiercenes to your training. ๐Ÿ‘Š



As always, simply boot up the game and you'll be automatically gifted the mask and bracers!

This update also includes a few fixes, thanks to those who helped me track them down:
  • Fixed issue where in some instances in Train Tier 3 stats would displaying many more mistakes than you had actually made. Sorry about that! (Thanks to Zorro and The_Raven_Child).
  • Fixed a similar issue where in some instances stats would display more total appeared punches/blocks than had actually appeared during the level. Making it impossible to get 100%! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
  • Removed the ankward ending to levels when the dummy arms are no longer interactable on the last few seconds as it cools down.
  • Revised some logic in the multiplayer session list so that when a session is available/unavailable the list updates much faster.
  • Various other quality of life improvements, small things but still important. โค๏ธ


What's next: I'm working on private sessions so that you can sync up with friends more easily!

v1.2.1: Student Fixes

Dear Students,

This update has been possible thanks to all of you who have reported issues and helped me track down how to fix them. Teamwork is at the very essence of Kung Fu, so thank you.

[h2]๐ŸŽฎGameplay:[/h2]
- Fixed issue where mistakes would appear at the start of a level, and failure could happen immediately due to them. (Thanks to Saquial & DuckDoc)
- Removed exploit where you could gain additional points from hitting the center pad in Train after the level ended if that was the last dummy arm on level end. (Thanks to dgthrt)
- Fixed issue with Accuracy percentage going above 100% in some instances, even though that's pretty awesome let's be honest. (Thanks to The_Ravent_Child).
- Fixed issue with feedback text being very right hand focused. The feedback should be more accurate now, covering a range for both hands, arms, too soon, late and perfect rounds. (Thanks to The_Raven_Child).

- Fixed issue in Achievements menu where if you went to the last page and closed/reopened the Achievements menu the navigational arrow would be wrong, resulting if not being able to browse achievements anymore. (Thanks to Archangel).
- Fixed various spelling mistakes accross the game. (Thanks to Archangel).
- Fixed issue where EVENT would unlock before 3 levels of both TRAIN and FIGHT had been completed. (Thanks to Archangel).

- Fixed issue with achievements where Destiny, Eternity and Crazy would not unlock. (Thanks to Archangel).
- Fixed issue with achievements where they would not unlock at the end of the level when they were completed, but instead would unlock after another level is played afterwards. (Thanks to Archangel).

V1.2: New mod, menu, free mask and bracers!

Dear Students,

As the world dons its winter cloak, I present to you Everglow, a mask that encapsulates the mystical allure of the coldest season. Everglow stands as a beacon of light in the winter's depth. Wearing it, you become part of the season's enchanting narrative, a wanderer in a land of frozen beauty and shimmering moonlit nights. ๐ŸŽ„



But that is not all, this time you get matching bracers. The Tempest bracers, with their natural wood grain and sleek design, encapsulate the raw power and beauty of the wilderness. Perfectly complementing the Everglow mask, they bring a touch of nature's strength and elegance to your training.



Simply boot up the game and you'll be automatically gifted the mask and bracers! Enjoy!

This update also includes a fairly big addition: a new mod called No Regen. This mod increase your score (x1.10) in trade for not being able to regenerate hearts. So watch out to not make too many mistakes!

The menu within multiplayer has also been revised, you can now access the cosmetics before and between rounds! Switch up your look on the go and show off your skills.

Yes, the winner of the contest will have their mask implemented in the game!

Patch - 1.1.5

- Updated multiplayer matchmaking backend to help find (when possible) players of similar skill. This works cross-platform, so you might find users from different platforms. The leaderboards are not crossplatform though. More platforms are being added as well, so expect an increase in players to match against!
- Updated multiplayer networking logic for a smoother experience overall, especially those with slower internet connections.
- Improved multiplayer collision detection and physics, which may change the scoring slightly in some instances. We're still in beta! (for now)
- Various smaller bug fixes overall. Thanks to everyone who has been helping find and squash them!
