It is with great pleasure that we can finally announce that Sabaton will be coming to Ragnarock this summer in a exclusive DLC. Get your hammers ready to drum to the sound of war songs because this new Sabaton RAID will be available on Steam sooner than you think.

The free update Vikings on Tour will launch in June on Ragnarock. This major update will add the possibility of playing Ragnarock on PC without a VR headset. Just grab a controller or a keyboard and drum your way to victory !

As soon as the update is here, the app launcher will ask you to start the game either on PC or PCVR. Until then, the Ragnarock Demo has been updated so you can try both versions and see for yourself how the gameplay works on PC. But let me tell you it’s no holiday, even the bravest vikings will have to train hard to carve their name on top of the leaderboards !


The PC UI won't be different from the VR version

Talking about competition, the Vikings on Tour update will change 2 things about multiplayer mode:

• continue to race up against 5 other players cross platforms but you will be able to choose if you want VR and non VR players mixed or not
  
• the leaderboards will automatically be separate but can be brought together with a simple checkbox

Finally, we do hope that you guys keep giving us feedback and ideas on how to make Ragnarock better !

The AG French Direct’s 5th edition will take place on Wednesday May 17th Live on YouTube from 5pm. Produced by ActuGaming, the AGFD is the right place to discover and push french independant studios and french speaking video games. 40 games will be presented during the showcase. Just like last year, WanadevStudio will be part of this event. I won’t spoil it, but we might have a little surprise announcement regarding Ragnarock…

Since you guys made Ragnarock such a big success, we decided to explore ways for non-VR players to experience the fun as well. We are very happy to announce that an update will be available soon to adapt the game for PC. No need for a VR setup anymore, it’s time you get your friends and family to start playing !

There will be two ways of playing the PC version of Ragnarock. With a controller or a keyboard, you can either try to control the two hammers or use a “one key one drum” setting which would be a little more accessible for those who are not used to rhythm games. Choose wisely as you will still have to train and improve your skills to be able to play all 3 different difficulty levels of each song and get those gold medals.

For those new PC players, the 40 free songs from volume 1 and 2 will be included in this new version. And yes, the multiplayer PvP mode will be cross-platform (PC vs VR) ! (For those who may have concerns about the leaderboards, both games will have separate ones.)


Use your boost to move faster


Oh, one last thing !

Since it's a free update for those who already have the PCVR version, anyone who is already playing Ragnarock on SteamVR will automatically get the PC version. On the contrary, future Ragnarock players will get to play on PC or PCVR.
