Ahoy captains!

We just released an update! Thanks to everyone who gave us feedback, and as always we want to give a very warm thank you to our reactive community and testers for their time and help! Here's what you will find in this update:

  • New lobby environment : Viking Hall (Will you find all the hidden surprises in-game?)

  • [PvP] In hosted games, the host can now change the next song
  • In solo, you can change the selected song again before starting
  • New harmonized design for in-game interfaces, with new sounds for score panel

  • Advanced settings to adjust hammer rotation/position (6 degrees of freedom, useful for those who play with special grips)
  • Haptics settings to adjust controller vibrations (This is useful for Index and Rift S users who still experience loss of tracking due to intense vibrations, see our known issues in the Hub for help)

  • Performance optimizations

  • [Fix] Vive Cosmos inputs fixed (can now scroll with joystick)
  • Mapping modification on “Nitro - The SIDH” Level 1 to make it easier (Warning: Leaderboard is now reset on this level)
  • [Fix] Better audio/mapping synchronization on “Nitro - The SIDH” levels 1, 5, 9
  • [Fix][PvP] Scores made in multiplayer are now also entered in Leaderboards
  • Recenter setting now also affects the lobby
  • [PvP] Timer when joining during a song is now in decreasing order
  • [Fix] External cameras for streaming now continue to work after the first song (and other upgrades, see our guide in the Hub)
  • [Fix] Game now works even if master sound volume is at zero
  • [Fix] Some sounds were not affected by audio settings (foghorn for example)
  • [Fix] Rounding methods were different between central score panel and Leaderboards
  • [Fix] Fixed a mismatch between left/right trigger inputs on Valve Index
  • [Fix][PvP] Quick menu wasn't always clickable after the first song

New update available for Ragnaröck #2

[h2]Update #2: Recenter feature, Audio and latency settings, Display drums/hammers adjustments[/h2]

How's it going, mighty vikings?

We're still following closely your reviews and feedbacks on Steam and our Discord. Thanks for helping us improve Ragnaröck! A new update is now available with the following changes:

- Option to recenter your position in-game: located after the drums and hammers adjustements (this will snap your drums in front of you wherever your are placed)
- Display drum height and hammer angle values so you can take note and set them back quickly if you move them. We are considering adding different profiles of players later to have multiple settings.
- Fix rank display for in-game leaderboard
- Added "Audio" settings to control sound volume for Master/UI/Track/Voice/Combo/Drums
- Added "Latency" setting to customize music/rune synchronization, located in the "Audio" settings.
- Stabilization of music/rune synchronization

Note: If you feel like the synchronization between music and rune is off (if you're using bluetooth headphones for example), use the Latency setting. Our recommendation: check your average latency on your left score panel at the end of each song and enter the opposite value as your latency setting (eg. if your latency average is -10ms, set your latency to 10).

Keep playing and tell us what you think! You are all invited to share reactions and areas of improvement here, or chat with the dev team on our Discord channel!

We're very excited to announce the release date for the Early Access of Ragnaröck, the Virtual Reality multiplayer rhythm game that we've spent the last few months working on!

Over the past few weeks, many of you have played the demo available since our participation in the Autumn Steam Festival, and we thank you very much. Now is the time to go to the next level with more Viking, more Rock, more Ragnaröck!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

In this Early Access, which will be available from December 17th, you will be able to discover new songs from remarkable groups with difficulty levels for all players (from beginners to the most demanding ship captains). The full tracklist will be announced very soon. Do you think you can get all the medals? See you on December 17th!

From this date, you will also be able to challenge your friends (or strangers) to compete against you in furious races!

A leaderboard will also be available on the game's website so you can follow and beat the best scores of other brave Vikings.

You can already add the game to your wishlist so you don't miss out on the release of Ragnaröck and its future features. This Early Access kicks off a new phase of Ragnaröck's development: we'll be adding new songs, environments and features on a regular basis!

Stay close, we will post regular updates about development goals and achievements. You are all invited to share reactions and areas of improvement here, or chat with the dev team (like Nola, Project Manager of Ragnaröck right below when she starts a game session) on our Discord channel!
